Ok, I decided to go with red bricks. Here are the results. Also started to put first layers of paint onto some details.

Superb! It's like looking at a CNN shoot!
This is the war-ravaged world of Warhammer, and there's only WAR!... and hammers.

Thats damn impressing Screem. You should be proud of yourself for the effort you put into it. As someone else said it's the attention to detail that makes or breaks anything. And you have detail in spades. =o]
Nice work. The bricks turned out really nice.

Still not finished, but the recent pics give you some idea about how its going to look like in the end:
The barrels and boxes are only for the pics. The final result will have other items in their place.
So cool!
I might have to do some stuff like this for my Tomorrow's War games.
R.
That's excellent
Does the poster of Saddam specifically date it to before and during the invasion in 2003, or were such images still up in public after the collapse of the Ba'ath Party?
Don't forget that I play Iraq-settings beginning with Desert Storm. Normally it wouldn't be seen (at least in most places) after 2003/04.
Ok, so NO updates today. Thanks to Christmas here in Germany and bad weather (not good to put primer onto any new models) I have nothing to show.
However, thanks guys for lots of feedback over the recent year. Keep your opinions coming, I really appreciate it.
Might finish off another Mech for Tomorrow's War and post pics over the holidays (into the other thread here at warseer). If the weather gets better even some more detailing on my buildings.
Have a Merry Christmas, guys!
Beasts Of War have made a review of Force On Force's core rule book:

I soon shall return with some modern forces again. I am currently painting lots of Mechs for Tomorrow's War.![]()
Woot? Nothing done for months! Its about time for a change. I finally have gathered all the components to realise mission objectives for my Battle For Skira project. The "Sunburn Site".
In the campaign USMC Force Recon units are supposed to neutralize the threat composed of Chinese Anti-Ship missiles (Kh-41 Moskit alias "Sunburn"), so the fleet is able to establish a bridgehead on the shores of Skira and land heavier units. I want my mission objective to look like the screenshot of the PC game "Dragon Rising":
I use a diecast 1/72 HIMARS system to resemble the truck, combined with a launch pad for an 1/72 S-2 Redline SAM (GRAN) and the resin missile of Armory's 1/72 Kh-41 Moskit kit.
This is how its more or less going to look like:
Obviously that's not final. The rubber tires are missing to allow easier painting and the missile has not been removed of any flash yet.
stay tuned!
Chris
Today I only found the time to assemble the Armory resin kit of the Kh-41 "Moskit" aka Sunburn. And while I know the thing is really big I haven't expected it to be such an enormous monster of a missile. Mind you - its normally carried by a SU-33 fighter jet!
Now I know why it is called a "tactical" anti-ship missile. In reality it would be 9.38 meters in length, have a range of more than a 100km and carry 300kg of explosives. I can't wait to see my launcher finished.![]()

A little more work has been done to the Kh-41 Launcher. There is still plenty to add and lots of detail to be painted, but here is how it looks as of now:

Two thumbs up.![]()
