Weird, I like everything there except the Undead crown (even Mrs. Dark Elf looks pretty good).

I think the shamans upper lip looks fairly big because of the camera angle. Otherwise I don't see anything wrong.

I think that's the first time I've been able to make sense of the Shaman model. I liked it better when I saw it as some sort of formless horror

Maybe mantic should start showing off the metals with just a black wash on them to show off the detail. I really feel like the painting is what's bringing them down, especially after seeing some of the amazing work on mantic miniatures in WarSeer's project logs.

Where are the Goblins? I thought they were suppose to be available for pre-order at the end of June?

The only goblin releases mentioned so far were the goblin Maw Handler and beastie. Those are part of the current Orc Army Deal sets only... Unless Mantic offers them during their open house.

Haven't heard release dates for anything else new yet.

I phoned them today to change an order which contained some not-yet-released items to a collection on the day It's only the Journal #4 that I'll probably not be able to pick up as they are not likely to have it by then.

I just noticed they have the Mawbeast w/ handler and Orc Shaman up for sale (with painted pics that are sadly typically unflattering). In the Show Specials/Limited editions section of the site. Mawbeast and handler look awesome (beast paint job aside). Shaman is well ... for sale. I wish they'd give some more angles on him.

Really? I actually quite like the paint job on the mawbeast, I think overall the photo of it looks good and makes me want the model. Lucky I already have it coming in Garlak's Monstrous Horde. I didn't think it was going to be a limited edition model... Or is it just a limited release and will come out again later?

The full photo of the shaman also looks better than the half photo we saw a week ago. I really like the paintjob of the blast on the ground, and while I am intrigued as to what is going on behind him (a goblin doing something by the looks) its not a bad shot and still a decent miniature.

Ordered a couple of Mawbeasts... think they are fantastic models. Not a fan of the paint job myself, the green on the goblin is too bright for my liking...

I like the mawbeast paint job, thumbs up on that but again the orcs and goblins are being painted an almost radioactive green. Tone down your greenskins please
