I really want to like the Assassin, but the awkward arm and flat face don't make it easy. I may get one and sculpt a mask and swap the arm but it is a real shame it had to come to that. I'm beginning to think perhaps it would be best of Mantic steers clear of trying to sculpt females.
My thoughts on the model in point form:
-flat face
-receding hairline
-weird left arm
-silly girl is wearing her bra over her clothes
-legs too far apart
+nice, broad thighs.
@bobtheinquisitor, AoW do a Dark Elf Queen model which you could perhaps use as an assassin, she isn't anymore armoured than the Mantic offering. I think she is topless, in fact.

Pretty much sums it up. For the mask would it be a Zorro like "half head" mask or a thin band with eye holes? Personally I'd vote for the second.

I want to sign everything Eldargal said about the model. It sums up the flaws pretty well. At this stage there is little one can do to make the mini look better, so this is a pass from me (a shame since the recent Goblin minis were excellent sculpts!)
And yes It's pretty much given that most artists and sculpters didn't study engineering or served in a military force so things like Forgeworlds tank designs and the Corporation boots happen quite often but .. you have to forgive me. I think this flaw here...

^ As previously mentioned, that is probably more down to the paintjob than anything else.
It looks like the sculptor intended for her to have a lot of skin on show, but the painter instead added a tight-fitting black ninja bodysuit over the skin, which results in the "bra over her clothes" look.

Won't save the model, will reserve judgement on face until I've seen it without paint but the pose is just too awkward, also difficult to convert from the looks of it. A pity.

I was responding to several comments - the breakdown was:
- Her face needs repaired (either by greenstuffing a mask or lopping it off and replacing it (someone suggested a GW Corsair head))
- Her left arm is ridiculous, so it could serve well to replace it
I just found it amusing that so many alterations were mentioned as ways to improve it - it just ends up making the model undesirable as I can find better "dark elf assassins" from, say, Reaper for less cash and with less need for alteration.
It's a decent effort, though - that is to say, I'm glad Mantic is taking the time to flesh out their ranges, even if those additions aren't always the best-looking.

I'm wondering if it wouldn't be possible to separate her left arm a bit so as to push her forearm out from her body...she probably would have done well to have her left arm be a separate piece. Maybe just a slight bend would work. Quick! Someone switch her arm to be pointed down about 15-20 degrees!

It's hard to believe the same company who produced the TK Sorceress produced that... miniature. Other people have pointed the main flaws, but what baffles me is the general sculpting quality. The model has a lot of "sharp" armor lines, but they all look crooked (shoulder plates, forehead thing, weapons). I'm not sure how much of that comes from the sub-standard paint job. Then there's the large non-feminine hands, and general design problems like awkward arm position and not giving a pommel to the dagger. Why should an assassin wear an ugly diadem thing on her forehead ? To make sure her hoodie never covers her face ? Why wear a hoodie then ? WTF is that miniature...
*Edit: Looking at the concept art again, I see what they were going for. Most of the details that went wrong on the miniature worked on the concept art (except the upside down dagger!), but the skills required to make it work were beyond whoever they hired for that mini... shame really.
