Hows the sculpting/restic conversion going ? I'm looking forward to the Palace Guard and Horsemen.
Ogre concepts are up:
Hope the sculpts match the concepts, they are looking great.
Has there been any movement on the Werewolf sculpts or possible release date?
"Roberto Cirillo has been busy concepting Trolls, Werewolves and Ogres and we thought it only right to start with the latter…."
I expect the troll & werewolf concepts will be shown soon.
The release date for all the kickstarter stuff is next year. Q2 I think it was. It'll all come out together.

They look damn fantastic, loving the style brutal yet not stupid.
Almost regretting not buying more Ogres. I went all out for Celestians.
Not really doing it for me. The concepts are well-done, I can't fault that - they just don't excite my tastes. I might end up selling my freebie Ogres unless my RP group really needs some Ogre NPCs or something...
I thought it was all going to be shipped to the backers at the same time, but some things might be released sooner.
Let that be as it may, I quite like those concepts. Although a few more options would certainly be nice. They could at least have given the two bodies a recognizably different pose.

Yeah, nothing groundbreaking with the ogres, the wearwolves though, I can't wait!!!
"Revenge is a dish best served by Uma Thurman"
What? These are very highly detailed and carry a lot of character.
O.k. they tossed the realistic proportions (Sadly) but these are very fine looking ogres!
They are still only concept drawings, what gets churned out in restic or metal is another matter.
They look interesting thats for sure and the more variety the better.
I can't stand the GW plastic Ogres, but I like the metal Maneaters, I also like the Rackham Ogres and these Mantic models may fit in with them better, who knows until they actually come out.
Mantic are making really nice models so I'm sure they will have a place where their Ogres fit in.
Certainly the detail is very sharp.
The Ogre head with the pointy tuft reminds me of a Pyre troll from Privateer press.
Correct me if I'm wrong - but wasn't the August shipment of rulebooks from the Kickstarter supposed to have the extra pages with the names of the backers? I got mine today but I appear to have gotten the first-run, so my name isn't in it. (Well neither is anyone else's - but who gives a crap about those guys).
Overall the book and dice are very nice though.
I had a similar issue. Head over to the Mantic forum and drop Stew a PM - he'll get you sorted.
I was relatively...unimpressed by the dice. The Mantic Splat wasn't as crisp as the initial concept looked. They look a lot less like the logo than I thought they would *shrugs*. They roll nicely, though.
I guess I'm just less picky on dice than everyone else!
I don't have an account on the Mantic forums, so I contacted them via the blog. It's a little confusing getting ahold of them via the multitude of methods available (Site, blog, facebook, kickstarter, various forums).
It turned out a lot harder to get the fine detail of the splat on the dice than expected. One option was to have it printed on but that would have scratched off in the end so this was as close as possible.
