A gaggle of orcs!
A parliament of orcs? An exaltation of orcs? A flink of orcs?
A maul of orcs.

I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.

Support the Mantic Deadzone Campaign
Hey guys, maybe one of you could help me. I'd like to pledge something in the Kickstarter project and I'm really into their Goblins, but cannot afford the 225$ pledge. So my question is: If I take the Soldier pledge for 35$ and add the Goblin army set for 95$, would this count as Champion pledge? Especially because of the map, the War Wagon and the other extras. Or do I have to take the specific Champion pledge for this? (I'd have to take Orcs then)
This has been addressed in the comments here:
David
Are the bonuses for 'champion' $100 and up included even if we pleged over $100 but claim a lower level reward and make up the rest with extras?

That changes everything!
Well, it changes my pled--pre-order level, certainly.
Avatars of Who?
EDIT: I kid Avatars of War! I love them. I really do! They are my favorite elite character sculptors in the world--for me to [avoid purchasing]!
So, nice update on their project.
Let me see if I'm reading this right.
Werewolves are still buy one get one (BOGO) free for 3-man packs at $25 each.
If you go for a total of $225, you get one of each new unit free as well.
So, if you direct $25 of $225 towards a BOGO werewolves offer, you end up with a total of 9 Werewolves?
Dear Mantic Guys,
Please watch "Tales from the Dark Side: The Movie" before you design your gargoyles.
Thank you
Bob
Man this is getting intense! I can believe how much plastic they're producing with the money they're getting. I have a feeling they're matching it with their own cash, otherwise it makes plastics look really cheap.
I am considering upping mine to $225 for all the stuffs but am unsure about how the extra postage cost factors into reward levels (ie if I had $210 worth of pledge stuff and then added $15 for my postage, would it count as $225 for reward purposes). I have a feeling it doesn't. but that might be something they need to clarify.

It's pretty awesome if that's the case...I just have to figure out what I want.

I'm torn with Undead and Orcs, but it looks difficult to stock up on the Orcs without getting 10 bajillion Gore Riders. Wip's kind of a god-awful model, too (can't find a good picture, but it looks too busy for my taste), so I'm not concerned about the pledges that include him.
I pledge to pledge () when I settle on something. FYI, I have shared the link and updates on Facebook, so hopefully it's getting out there. Pardon my thinking out loud - this is really exciting stuff, though!
I found the same issue with Orcs. Best I could see was to get the orc army in Champion (30 Ax Warriors, 20 Greatax, 10 Gore Riders, 24 Orclings) then to supplement it with the goblin elite army set (1 Sneak, 5 Mawbeast Pack, 40 Spitters, 20 Sharpsticks, 20 Rabble, 1 War Trombone). Not technically all an army, but the two armies are both somewhat half done. That puts you at $195, add a pair of orc chariots and an extra set of trolls when they're available and you've broken $225 and have a huge orc/goblin alliance which should look great on the table.
Wip does look better in the flesh where you can look at it closely and actually see what's going on. I pledged the $225 with a $175 Orc army and 2x$25 on new units.

Keep in mind they're talking about restic when they say "plastic", although the goblins will probably be real plastic. Restic is cheap for them. It's much less fun to work with than plastic, but better than PP's "plastic".
Alex, what specifically do you dislike about the gargoyle? Or do you just prefer harpies?
I don't dislike it, but harpies are an "it depends" while gargoyles are a "no". I see gargoyles the same way I see the mummies - they could be the best sculpted mummies ever, and I'd be able to appreciate them as such, but that doesn't actually mean I want to buy any.
