That's looking pretty cool.
Are you going to have the Falcon turret on there as well, or maybe some gunners on the deck?

Dark Eldar (ongoing) and Skaven (dead) and Digital Wastrel, my blog.
Im planning on deck gunners, i'm going to be using either guardian grav platforms or splash out on a support weapon platform. originally the idea was a open topped falcon, then the dark eldar came out and the raiders sorta had a lot of my ideas pre made, but I dont want it to look like I've just glued a raider on the back of a falcon, which is a bit where it is now. I totally want a 40k version of a ships wheel on the deck, maybe some rigging too! So there will be a guys steering the wheel, two deck gunners and maybe my prince either steering the wheel or reclined on a seat on the poop deck.
Cool log. Baharoth looks excellent and your drawing is great. I like your command falcon and I look forward to seeing it finished.
Holy crap, I usually don't like most conversions of falcons & DE stuff, but this one...it's makes total sence, somehow I see it fit together perfectly. The new dark eldar are really eldar like, they mix so well with the eldar range, this just shows it.
Your idea of an antigrav platform makes perfect sence somehow.
Well I've added fins to the raider rear to eldarfy it and im sorta pleased with the results, Im getting a painting itch although there is a lot more work to do. I don't know do the fins look good? bear in mind Im still to greenstuff the rough edges and detailing. Is the silhouette eldar? Im also not sure if its too simple or if i need to cut into the shape at all?

loads of greenstuffing going on I pretty much decided that the fins are cool, they give the falcon a decent width which compensates for the added length of the tank, its almost at the point where Im considering writing special rules for this beast. Still waiting on the right parts for the deck to show up on ebay..and at the right price! Guess I can start etching the armour plating lines on the fins. I'm also feeling the need to paint something....
Painting!! so Ive been back round to the 40k hub, picked up some of my forces including...my finished hornet!
So Ive slightly changed the colour scheme for these, using a more shell like pattern simil;ar to my shining spears and compliementing the lobster esque look of the vehicle. It also matches the stealth/scout idea of the hornet being more subtle than say my falcons. Feels good to get the paints out, please feel free for C+C. time to start on the 2nd hornet methinks!
Very cool!

Covering the canopies and adding giant gems is such a simple idea, but it makes the vehicles look so much more alien. Love it. The paint schemes are also perfectly weird and beautiful. One of my favorite Eldar armies!

Thanks for the comments guys! I was wondering how long it would be before any feedback occured! Im happy you like the extra alien flavour Pekel but I cant take credit for the covered canopies, its an idea I stole from The Yellow One over at CMON, however the paint scheme is of my own devising. I've slowly been building up to some more painting by converting some jetpack corsairs. I have all this plasticard floating around and feel a little bit peeved to spend 18 quid on jetpacks so I built my own, still very WIP with only one guy so far nearing completion.
as you can see I've modified the heavy weapons so corsairs can hold them, a pretty easy conversion that looks the part. heres a shot of the guns before and after

YESSS! Don't know if you've been away from this log or if I've just missed it the last couple of months, but very happy to see it again! Yours are definitely some of the best Eldar to have graced the pages of this hallowed forum. Really like the Hornet and Corsairs, looking forward to more!
Cheers,
BTB
Oh man thanks so much BTB! that's huge and muchos respect for that, Its comments like that which will keep me plugging away. long time no update though, as Ive had some commission work and trips away, and i still havent picked up a brush(but its coming, sorted out a decent paintspace) but i have been working on my Prince(on foot version) and his retinue of bladesworn.
hers the Bladesworn(almost finished)
Ive included a rear shot of the last guys so you can see his cloak of chains. each of these bladesworn are going to have a different background, which I'll include when I post them painted. I'm thinking a gladitorial fighting machine, first mate, rival pirate lord sworn to servitude, weapon master and fanatical bodyguard. guess whos which!
Hard to say wo's who, the only thing I know for sure - they're equally badass.
Admittedly, it's some time ago, I left comment here, mainly because of being a Nid player I'm not too interested in vehicles - but I simply love Your infantry!
Very nice conversions, and I'm really looking forward to the paintjobs!
I especially like the third dude - two swords, worn samurai style might be either gladiator or the fanatical bodyguard.
