Sadly these are the only painted skimmers so far, you can't blame me, just look at the size of my army. I am however currenly painting more raiders.

I'll start painting a full Ravager Titan hunter datasheet (5 ravagers with each with 3 DLs, only have to do 4 more when you think about it) during the summer.

Let's move from skimmers to flyers for now.

Sidenote before starting to post more pictures:
In case you're wondering are all my flyers painted? You can see they're somewhat painted in my first post, but they're only partially painted, I need to finish mainly the black part and some other details.

I have converted 2 leade ravens, to eventually separate my 6 ravens into 2 formations. I can also form a RMS made out of 3 different ravens, I just love converting.

it all looks great. I really like your heavy skimmers. i take it that its mostly glue and cereal box like cardboard? i may eat alot of cereal this summer an build one for the heck of it.

also, i see a strike gundam box among others. those an cars were the only models i had when i lived in japan...looking for GW over there is like looking for the holy grail.

It's one of our worst units, but painted it still does look cool. I actually like these models a lot, but I've rarely used them.

Congrats to you, they look great imo :-)
The highlighting on the edges and all on the reavers/raiders is top notch from the distance and comparing the whole army, you have gone with an effective sheme here :-)
The big talos is also very nice as are your converted raiders, but I can't stand the warpbeasts haha, but maybe it is just me :-) You could use some of the new chaos hounds etc., also many possibilites and they are plastic, too.

I love the current models, but I'm alsoa fan of conversions and also a fan of the dark elf witches.

These are my only mandrakes, I really want a couple more to be able to fill up 3 Elites with mandrakes. It's obviously not ment for battle effectiveness but rather for the fun.
If you know how and when to use these babies they can be quite handy.
My favorite Elite combination is actually 2 wych squads + 1 mandrake squad.

and now my lovely lords. A lot of people don't like these old guys, but I'm fine with them. I do hope for new lords soon, not to replace them, but to have more lords, I'm sure the new models will be better for obvious reasons.

As I said I'm currently painting warriors & raiders, it will take months to finish these, I'm not a speed painter. On average a unit takes me about 1-2 weeks to finish, do you do math. When you look at the final result you realise it's worth it.

Currenlty (planning on) painting :
30 warriors, 5 raiders, 6 reaver jetbikes (shredders and succubus)
and some grotesques. Maybe some other stuff.

After this I''ll be painting datasheets only, this should be during the summer.

Technically I already have a nice Splinter Raid Force and a Raven Murder Squadron, so it's all starting to become truly apocalyptic.

That's the freaking biggest Kabal I've ever seen anywhere, and I thought mine was pretty big already at like 5K (DE armies tend to be smaller as far as I can see it).

I actually know quite a few online guys who have far beyond 5k, a couple even go towards 8k or even 10k

In real life two guys I know both have some fairly big Kabals, like yours or even bigger (I know they do Dark Eldar, they've described their army, but I've never actually seen their army)

In tournaments when I ask around they do only have a small armies. I don't think you'll find bigger than this army and it's going to get bigger when the new codex comes out.

I don't mind them, I do somewhat like the models,I plan on using chaos hounds, but heavily greenstuffed and converted.
It's just personal taste, we can't all agree on everything.
Also plan on converting gaunts into warp beasts, like above.
I also will use dark elf cold ones with some greenstuff

I also like the previous edition of chaos hounds and I also got the insane idea of using Xaphan hounds (forgeworld) as warp beasts, even though they amazingly expensive.

So many ideas for warp beasts.

I am a fan of the current dark eldar range, but I'm not against conversions.
Look at my incubi, are they really that bad? Will you evne dare to say they look bad ?

This tread is a major thing in many ways.
1. Holy Godly Banana!! 500 warriors?? What a bid bad-ass army!
2. What a time consuming task to paint all those! Congratulation for getting done so many models!
3. GW own you 1\32 of it's annual money recipe
4. Theses army really motivates players. I mean, how could I be unmotivated looking at my little Tyranids army now that I've seen your overwhelming Kabal force??
