Proteius came up with a neat sentinal conversion - mount the cockpit rotated vertically by 90 degrees - it'll look like a robo squig and fit a grot nicely.

next up - ork terrain

and here it is, an ork encampment deep in a wild jungle.



i used some board from a cardboard box, and a piece of foam board as a base. i glued on some straws and bits of piping on as the chimneys. all the material was form 4d models, which i highly recommend to anyone who lives in london. the plants are just from my local fish shop.

im not sure whether to add more greenery? would be good to see what you guys think

looking to do another one, this time maybe more of a watch tower. i also did some chaos terrain, that will go up on my thousand sons blog tommorow.

i have no more miniatures to paint, and dont want to buy any till i go to salute, so...

ive decided to tart up all my salamanders as they look dull, and most are badly painted. i have decided started with the vehicles.

ive tried to put flames on any large areas of green, and have added a scale pattern to certain parts. i have also gone for a bright yellow highlight to make them stand out a bit







thats all i had time to do today, and have sill got 2 whirlwinds to do and a LOT of troops. this could take a while

hopefully ill have more done for an update tomorrow evening
