No1: My design on a drop cage, using just simple shapes that can be easily cast (annotated quite heavily).
No2: Drop troop drawn for fun, at about 11 at night (the other day, scanned it in now).
No3: A little drawing for hammer, of what I've Pm'd him about.

(Ok, the arms on the drop trooper are kinda funky, but it was late at night, I can do better, I promise)

I really like your drop cage ideas, it doesnt look like mine.. but its a bit of a vague concept.
I like the fold out rocket pods, thats an idea Ill definatly try and incorperate.
you managed to get concept sketches up before I did.... Im impressed.
My sentinels may also have a detachable rocket system, or I might build them into the Hull of the sentinel itself. I havnt started on sentinel design yet.

But its nice to see a properly scaled one, the figures themselves are very very heroicly scaled.

Wow! These are just inspiring. I was wondering what they look like undercoated, as the detail is hard to see on the raw resin.
I am really looking forward to the sentinels as well!
As are as the dropcages, I have also been thinking about making a drop template for all of my units just to help with a quicker placement in games.

My thought for drop cages was miniature SM drop pods, a lot less tech, lots of flat surfaces and some how give it the look of mass produced one uses only type thing. If that made any sense to you AH, i hope it helps

I understand why this thread is being closed to. GW gets pissy about people copying their stuff and infringing on IP. Anyway, good luck with completing them and continue to work on your painting. You show promise you just need practise.
Its a shame that you have a to drop the threadbut keep up the good work and i hope to see the finished ones one day

Hi Guys,
Just to add a quick bit before I delete this, if you want to make a thread like this than I have no problems as long as you only ever cast your own original work which doesn't include GW plastics or metals. I expect you wouldn't like people to cut the arm's and legs off your minis and copy those...
Anyway I'll close this for a day then delete it so that everyone gets the message.
