Alright... it's been a little while, and not sure if anybody cares, but here's some pics of a few of my projects.

First - a couple of Tallarn Test models... I might add a Tallarn-style second platoon to my Guard army with their own style.

Next up - the Sons of Angarak. My Grey Knight army. Starting with the Dreads and Stormraven, all still WIP.

Assault Dread - Psycannon, Incinerator, Doomfist.

Heavy Hitter - ML and TL Lascannon, for some heavy AT. Got the Forgeworld Mortis ML and TL Lascannon to give it a little something different.

Psifle Dreadnought - Puppetswar Autocannons, going for Psybolt Autocannons.

Stormraven - Typhoon Launcher, Plasma cannons and Hurricane Bolters. It'll be the delivery method for my Purifiers, Brotherhood Champion and Assault Dread all in one.

Next up, the infantry of the Sons of Angarak.

    Starting with the Grandmaster

Troop Terminators - I have two squads of five, each with a Psilencer.

Purgation Squad - on the shelf, they're next to Squad Two of my Terminators

Interceptors and Purifiers - Purifier on the Right, Interceptors on the left.

And that summarizes my Sons of Angarak so far.

These are nice, what did you use to make them?

I got a couple of Wargames Factory Persians as a black friday bonus from the Warstore, and I don't do any fantasy armies, so I figured I'd see what they would look like with Cadian arms... I shaved off the shoulderpads to make them look a little more fitting, and bob's your uncle.

So, I've been busy but haven't posted anything lately... I got a little irate with the habit of using purple as a joke colour on a Marine chapter, and it inspired me to do a scheme where the primary colour is purple. Here's the first couple of Marines, for my Death Company squad, and there's one of my new Necron Destroyer conversions beside them as well.

Not like it seems I get much notice, but moving right along.

I recently had it drawn to my attention that my pictures did not include a shot of my Imperial Guard Ironcoats - I have two with my CHQ as Bodyguards, and I have a squad of three-meltagun Vets with Bastonne as a Panzergrenadier squad. The lower legs were High Elf Warrior legs, and I thought it a different method to the whole Greatcoat Guard idea.

Alright... bought myself a Birthday present - the Macharius Vanquisher. I couldn't help the Mammoth Tank comparison, so for the longest time I was working on it under wraps with the code name of Overlord.

    ARE YOU READY?

So yeah. That's my first superheavy.

Alright... first of two updates I'm going to add here. Got the Dark Vengeance set, like a lot of people, did some work on a couple of the models. The Helbrute I couldn't leave as is, so I converted it with a power scourge and a plasma cannon. Pics!

Alright, here it is, with her basecoat on - The Jagdsword, a Machinator and Sauragnmon collaboration. I put all the sponsons on for the first step show-off, I might do the next one with all armor plates.

Alright, another update to the metal monster that is the Jagdsword. Got the base layers of the camouflage applied, as I mentioned I was going to do it in Ambush style, this is Not finished, even in other patterns my Guard Camo applies two more colours, to apply dazzle-style false-shade and false-light on the colours, and in this case, there's about five more colours to come. Pics!

The gold Grey Knights look nice, how have you painted the gold?

I like the IG Ironcoats conversions too.

Re: Saur's grand plog of stuffness - 40K and BFG

My "not so" Grey Knight army was done with Vallejo Orange Brown as a base, followed by Gold, and then I hit it with a red wash. I was inspired by David Eddings who spoke of a red gold that consumed the soul with greed, so I figured what the hell, I'd try red over gold. Well, it kinda kicked in, and I wanted more, so I did the whole army in red gold.

The Ironcoats I came up with kind of on a lark - there were all sorts of people doing greatcoat guard, I was browsing around and found the high elf warrior legs and thought "That looks like a good idea" so I ordered a batch of the legs, modified them to fit, and bob's your uncle.
