Thanks very much. I've got a couple more Cygnar jacks to do at some point, but waiting to get the Gallant and Black Ivan kits as the jacks I want to paint next.

I've now finished Epic Madrak




This gets all my troll warlocks painted ahead of Skarl coming out. Gone back to working on Skaldi and Janissa and had an issue with running out of underbelly blue.



Tried working with space wolves grey, but I need to blend the skin more as it's a bit flat at the mo.

Thanks Mdiscala. He got out to play on Friday and won one and almost won the second apart from my idiocy by sacrificing both my warbeasts.

Well almost got the two trolls finished so pictures of them probably by next weekend.


I bought the kit to convert Gallant to go alongside Constance. I'm doing him up in white to fit in with the whites of the Precursors With him done I just have a Unit attachment and a solo to do for the army. Though I may get some more Precursors.

Then working on the unit attachment for my High Shields. I figured I'd clear my dwarves awaiting painting as they shouldn't take long whilst I'm focussing on characters. So once these are done I'll do the Artillery next.

Well progressed a lot on Gallant.



Still need to decide what to do with the shoulder pads as I'm not sure doing them in white won't be too much.

And then I've finished Skaldi who did really well on his first tryout last week.





Janissa is finished painting, but the stones erupting from her base are still being done so I'll get a shot when she's all finished.

As I said I've finished Janissa and used the stone formation from the Runeshapers for her.





Took a bit of work to get it to stay, but very happy with how it works. With her done I think I'll do the Scattergunners next for my trolls, particularly as I've now replaced my missing paint.


Then still working on the Highshields and looking to have them done probably by the end of the weekend.

Well been managing to clear things off my desk as I slowly work on my Daemonhost.


Started the Sword Knight Unit attachment on the basis it should be a quick paint as the scheme is mostly metal. It'll also get me to think about reworking the sword knights who are a little basic. These will go with Constance as well as the Precursors.



Finished the Highshields Unit attachment, though typically the shield decided to fall off as I took the photo. Just noticed as well I have two more buckles to paint.

And then I finished Gallant.





With the Sword Knight UA done I'll just have one model to paint from scratch for Constance's army, though I'm likely to repaint or touch up some more. Generally pleased with him. Still not sure on the shoulder pads.

Well I've been working through just getting Cygnar figures done that were half done or I wanted to use their unit.



Leader for the Stormblade UA. I'll now try and work on the standard bearer though it fills me with dread.



Sword Knight Unit attachment about half done. It's working up the armour that mostly needs doing now. The leader is very OTT.

They are to go with the full unit that was painted years ago.

Spruced him up a little whilst he sat on the side as reference. For a start most of my old models need their bases repainting.

Going to spruce up the rest of the unit and just need to get Archduke Runewood to finish off Constance's army. Next up though I'm repainting my Scattergunners ahead of getting their unit attachment. Not sure how much I'll get done as I'm busy all weekend.

Cheers Chris. Skaldi is turning out to be a favourite both after painting him and seeing him in action. Been running a minimum Champions unit with him rather than full Champs and he's been doing great.

Not much in the way of painting done on anything not Inq28 related, but got up some pictures from the tournament I ran on Saturday.

Yeah Skaldi did turn out good too. I'm liking the idea of painting those trolls more and more. I just got a dire troll and spear chucker guy so probably soon.

i've got to respect you for your trolls after doing my bloodgorgers and then a small 25pt force for a mate i can tell you i'm not a fan off painting them

Basher - well practice on them is also why I'm repainting all my original trolls as I've gotten better on doing them over the years.

Well I haven't been painting much due to work and looking after the house whilst the wife was away, but been using the time to get some basic stuff done.




I've now spruced up all the Sword Knights I had to go with the Unit attachment I just painted to go with Constance. Redid all their bases as well. They are a functional paint job nothing more.


Got a HellDorado figure to paint for one of my players in my Pirate rpg and she'll be a knife fighting rogue. Waiting on him to tell me what colours he wants her in.

Next up once my desk is a little clearer (Friday hopefully) when I can start on the Scattergunners for my Trolls who I'm repainting and waiting for their Unit attachment to turn up. May have to paint up the Khador half of the new 2 player Starter box as well if that shows up on time for Fiasco at the end of the month.

Sword knights look real good. I don't know if I've said it before, but I think a lot of your bases would benefit from some static grass.

I've kept the static grass really to specific forces - the trolls in Hordes' case. I've thought about using snow on Everblight or Khador, but not gotten to it yet. My wife's Circle has scattered leaves whilst the Retribution had cork done up as aged stone.

Yes, but one of the things I try to do across my armies is have some consistency base wise so they look like they are on the same battlefield. It's why my 40k armies all have the same bases as my terrain does. The only things where I'm changing that is my Inquisitor warbands.

Thinking about it some more and my pirates are all on planked bases, but again a limited army compared to ones that might conceivably work together - ie mercs/Minions ending up amongst the trolls.

Ahead of my PP stuff turning up my LGS let me have a 2 player Warmachine starter early so I could start painting it ahead of doing demos at Fiasco on the 30th.


The box comes with 2 complete 20 point armies for Warmachine - one Khador, one Menoth - plus a mini rulebook and other extras such as an intro version of No Quarter.

My wife's taken the Menoth so I'm painting Khador again. The stuff in there means I have a new demo force for Khador using the new plastic jacks as all the ones I've had so far I've made into other jacks.


Juggernaut and Destroyer


New Shocktroopers alongside 2 old ones. There are 5 plastic shocktroopers in the box I just had the other one elsewhere.


And then the new version of Sorscha.

So I primed them yesterday and started on the jacks and Sorscha.
