Ok big update. My plan to clear my desk has about half worked.

First off, the man, the Legend - MACBAIN!!!!




Quite happy with him. Going to look at figuring what army to run with him. I suspect a lot of Steelheads.

That's it Merc wise at the moment. Next for them will be Steelhead riflemen and a Mariner probably.


Manhunter/ress is done to go with the other Manhunter and Yuri the Axe.

A wreck marker mainly to be used when I play against Khador rather than for my guys.



Finished 6 of the assassins, but not the Underboss. Fairly happy with how the scheme has worked. They look flamboyant enough, whilst still staying within the army scheme.

Bomber - who will be the brightest blue of all the trolls because he's the biggest.

Ok stuff is getting done



The warriors for the Kriel unit are done. Noticed a glitch on one of their heads so I'll tidy that up, but very happy with how smoothly they came together. Tartan looks very nice so happy with that.


The caber thrower is getting worked on to go with them. The shaman who leads them has detail stuff to do and maybe a tattoo so he'll take a little longer. And the Troll card pack is out soon so my trolls will be getting some gaming in soon.


1 little whelp done. 4 more to do for that 'unit', but I figured because their skin can be whatever colour depending what troll they came from I'll do them alongside other stuff.

That's the Kriel Warriors finished. Much much quicker than the first time I painted a unit.


The underboss is done as well. Really happy with his face.


Next up are the steelhead riflemen. I was just going to do these 6, but I figure I'll get the full lot done at the same time.

Converting a new Ashlynn for my mercs. Used the basic body of Fiona the Black with bits removed and then modifying Ashlynn's arms. Will try not to rush it.

Started painting Iron Fangs finally. A minimum unit of 6 and their unit attachment in progress and I'd like to have them done this weekend.

To be fair I got distracted by some Warhammer as I started painting up some of this lot




So High Elves incoming. Probably doubtful I'll play a game with them, but I may own the rules again if this starter box has nice high elf models in it. Wait and see.

Right the Elves are largely old school. I don't like the current plastic archers or spear so making do with the older ones.


My test model for the scheme. Darker chain than I've gone with.


First up will be a block of 20 with the potential for ten front rank ready to receive a charge.


First bolt thrower of two done. Still wish I'd gotten one of the wheeled ones.


Dragon Princes being worked on. Using a turquoise scheme on them and making it up a lot as I paint them.
