Well i thought i would start this up again, here is my WoC log, heres what im currently working on.

I am also working on a BSB and plan to convert a total of 5 chaos trolls and 5 dragons ogres, im just using some iron guts to update the look of the older models. I need to get my hands on some more plastic chaos knights lances so i can do a unit of 18-20 in total.

I also have a unit of 2 of the old marauders to paint and convert

Good looking stuff. I might get wulfrick and convert him like you did. Maybe beef up that tentacle on the troll though? keep it up!

Yeah i think i will do that actually, will have to wait till payday i will just using what little greenstuff i found hiding under deck, i need to do something else with it, not sure what yet.

Yeah its amazing the difference a new head makes on a model, i didnt know this but he actually has a Khorne symbol on him (go figure).

I think i need to keep my eyes on ebay as i really want to get a warhammer quest chaos warriors and akehold hellbrass for my army (i have a tzeentch warrior unit for him), i was going to paint them blue however i hacve decided against this, i think i will paint them with gold armour and blue capes (i will do a tester tomorrow)

Here is a a update on the exalted hero of Khorne, originally i painted all the weapon blades a goldern color however i have decided im going to redo it in a similar fasion to the exalted above, still not finished but i think he is coming along rather well, I also need to come up with a better method of painting blood so if anyone has any tips on this it would be really great

I had a very bad day and lets leave it at that, i have been abit lazy today with my painting, i should have really finished this guy by now however i keep getting distracted, ghrr, im going to blame all these 8th ed rumour threads!

I wasn't convinced when I saw the first tester pic but now that it's nearly finished I like it a lot. Is the fur finished yet? I only ask because IMHO it needs to be lighter and less brown in tone because I think it clashes with the gold and blue atm.

I really like the freehand banner work by the way, forgot to mention on the last post

The fur is just base coated atm, i think im oing to redo the highlihghts on the metal. they are a little extreme atm, i think i will put another highlight on the black as well. To be honest i wasnt 100% sure about the color myself at forst however i did try and out a blue armour one and i didnt really like it, i think these will blend into my army better as well. I think a unit of 20 of these guys lead by akehold hellbrass are look awesome! I still have a unit of the old chaos knights i havent painted yet + the chaos lord of daenomic steed (which i use as a steed) so i think i will paint all those to match as well. I shall certainly be getting some tzeentch marauders with HW+SH so i need to decide what to use for the models (perhaps flaggellents?)

I may well change the dragon rider to a tzeentch lord (could be interesting) as currently it has arbaal on the top

Nice stuff. The Wulfric model looks really good when you replace the over the hill punk rocker head

What the painting or the pictures

Ok these are some reposts however i have tried another method of taking pictures with more lights and justs seeing if people think they have come out alot better, feedback welcome, a note on the chaos knights banner, its going to repainted as i painted them a while ago, i will also be repainting the boots black and all the weapons a metal color, i am in two minds about harry the hammer if i should just strip him down and start again. The new Khorne lord i started repainting however i have not 100% finished him so any suggestions would be great, im not 100% about the jugger, i have been thinking maybe painting them both much like i did the Tzeentch warriors armour.

I thought these two guys were spot on.
Much more intimidating than my Khorne guys. My brighter red looks very cartoony in comparison to the colour you have chosen.
