Yeah FW is very cool stuff although a little expensive but worth it as i REALLY want the war mammoth among other things.

I certainly agree with you however the quailty is amazing, I do hope they start to bring out some chaos warrior warrior conversion kits

Well I have two units of chaos warriors to halberds to update, new bases, repaint cloaks, weapons, boots, etc, then I want to get another Shaggoth with additional hand weapons, finish the knights, redo the chaos spawn and then get my hands on some bloodletters for my Tamurkhan list.

Yeah i have them in my list/s will be interesting to see what the models look like and what other stuff is released. Hopefully it will be a multi piece plastic set so conversions here we come .

Well I really want to try and fit a unit of 6 into my list at some point, I might leave that for the bigger list, but I do think it will look pretty damn awesome I have a feeling they will be like the minotaurs and who knows, maybe finally we will get some command options like we did back in 5th!

Yeah it would be cool, maybe you could do a unit of 8 as this is Khorne's sacred number, and much like myself am doing units based on 9 which is Tzeentch's sacred number, just a thought for you to consider.

Command options although at present they have a champion upgrade i feel it could "soften" the nature of the dragon ogres as they are more bestial than your standard ogre however it would still be good to have the options for it.

It will be interesting to see the finecast hero models they release, though i would much prefer they be in plastic and with multi options like some other races currently have but one can dream .

My Tzeentch list is designed like that actually, khorne not so much I don't fancy units of 16 or 24 chaos warriors

If a beastman can have a banner then I think dragon ogres should have them! they used to have them, then again I want chaos trolls with great weapons again as well

Honestly I would much rather have a metal hero model than a plastic or finecast one, I just like the feel of it, I think its pretty much a given that we will see more chaos plastic heroes when they redo the box next year. Me and one of the staff in my GW talked about this, I think the plastic ones they released are a test bed, I think we will only see special characters in finecast plus some of the more epic models (like the mounted heroes). I think most heroes are going to be plastic and of course the finecast models make them look cheaper than they are.

Roll on plastic dragon ogres! till then I will treat myself to a finecast shaggoth for my Bday tomorrow with some of my Bday money.

I can see what you mean with beastmen with banners and so forth, as i said it would be good to have the options i think plastic kits for most of the troops would be good especially for conversions etc... I think its good that most of the kits at present are being made into plastics or fine cast more from a converters stand point as there much easier to chop and change.

Metal heroes are good however difficult to work if your like me and like to convert the heck out of everything. You have a point about the fine cast models but i think its more the fact you get afew miscasts or alot depending on who you talk to .

Logan does the new shaggoth model come with the option of great weapon as well as additional hand weapon?? Just curious as i may be in need of a 2nd shaggoth soon.

It only comes with the option for great weapons, it is however very easy to make to additional hand weapons from the great weapon, I have used to axe heads from old metal minotaurs and keeping the shaggoth blade for rainy day

Oh nice, but gotta hate that they could have atleast offered 2 hand weapons when they cast the thing in resin . But very cool you have some very appropriate weapons for the task and look forward to seeing him in any form.
