Some nice stuff here. Pity about the Photobucket, maybe it's time to use Picassa, Google at least seems to have less bandwidth issues?

I've been using Warseer's gallery lately. It's very easy to use, unlimited storage, and as far as I know no bandwidth limit.

So, after a small break, here are some of my latest commissions that I've done. I have a tons of stuff for my client to finish, but here
are some of the first that are made:

Craters, some small ones (which are not small at all, as you can see), the 2 of them joined, and finally this large piece of three craters

And this is the eagle tower, a complex of two buildings, with a lot of details and space to move your miniatures around. It is perfect for TLOS,
hiding and all sorts of different scenarios. I really enjoyed making this one.

Both pieces are perfect for 40k and Warmachine and I am looking forward to test them
As soon as I finish other items, I'll post some more.
    Cheers!

I like the eagle tower. I would suggest you wash the entire model (not just the stones, the mossy areas as well) with a Devlan Mud wash, to tie everything in a little more. Right now, the mossy area looks too slapped on.

    Otherwise, great looking building.

Thank you Daniel36, can you tell me more on this Devlian mud wash, or perhaps show some pictures of finished models with this wash, I am constantly looking how to improve my work, and every suggestion is welcome

    All the best

Hello, guys, here is a little somethin-something from my workshop, this is a Old Factory made for 40k. It has good ammount of details
and removable wall for some special rules, so for example if you use it for Warmachine or Hordes, Warjack or Warbeast can crush into wall
and destroy it, making more room for the troops to walk through, or to destroy enemy troops inside the building. Or you can destroy it just because
it is so much fun! Enjoy...

More detailed images you can find on my blog. Cheers!

    Hello, once again...

I have another piece from my studio to show you, this is Industrial Complex, and in case you wonder, every building is modular,
so it makes it a lot easier to storage whole piece. It is made for a 40k player, but I imagine that with a few changes it can well fit
into Steampunk surroundings. More detailed photos you can find on my blog. Enjoy...

Soon I will post a few tutorials on this and some other pieces. Stay tuned!

    Re: Dreamspirit terrain log

    Hey Dreamspirit,

Well, other than this here link http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2739297 that shows some pictures of Devlan washed models, I can't really show you much.

It is basically a very thin, brown ink. If you throw it on recesses in your models, it will create not only a shade, it will also give the impression of dirt gathering in the recesses. Also, if you put it on stone walls and on mossy areas, it will tie them both together a bit more (it's a technique of which I forgot the name), and also give the idea of dirt getting caught inside. But this works for corners, for rivets, for pipes, for tiles, for anything that has a texture.

I can really only tell you to just go and buy a pot, and paint it on some parts. It is very wet, so you can easily take a brush and wipe away excess wash where you don't want it before it dries, and it will just work wonders.

Perhaps someone here will have a good link that gives you an exact idea on how it works. Best thing to do is just go ahead and try it. You won't regret it.

    Re: Dreamspirit terrain log

hello everyone, here is something that I made for Steampunk surroundings, I hope that you like it. More detailed pictures you can find on my blog,
and I hope to make a video soon on this piece. The crane and the cannon are magnetized so you can change places of them and also you can use them as separate pieces,
as objective markers or something. Enjoy.

    Re: Dreamspirit terrain log

Hey guys, I thought a lot on how to make a forest from the terrain chart that will cover all types of forests in the terrain chart.
As you know, you really don't have any idea what kind of forest is until you step into it. SO I made something like this. This forest has
magnetized bases for the trees, stoned mushrooms are just placed on regular bases, and forest is full of details. Enjoy, and if you would like to
see more, you can find a lot of detail pictures on my blog. All the best!
