    Oooh, nice!
The copter blades could use another ink I think though, on the picture they seem kinda shiny.

This is looking really nice! I like your green a lot, it's not so bright and it's quite realistic which goes as well for the chipped paint on the vehicles and stuff.
    Good job!

    Re: Green is Mean !

I finished basing and the Ork army now consists of 2x 20 Shoota Boyz, 3 Deffkoptas and a Warboss. Here are more detailed pics of the Warboss and his little buddy ammo runt.

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback. I think the Kopta blades being a little bit flat is a picture thing. In real life they seem more varied.

These look great. Particularly like the chipped yellow and the scratchy checks. Proper Orky

    Re: Green is Mean !

Thanks for all the wonderful comments, peeps ! It really means a lot to me.

With some work done on the Orks it was time to start building some new stuff and bring some order in the chaos. Here is the work on a Big Mek with a Shokk Attack Gun. I generally don't like the metal Ork models so I had to scratch build. I really didn't plan to make one but my friend was going bonkers over it the moment he noticed how gloriously random that table was... Oh welll

Agreed. I'm shokked too I myself tried once to make a shokk attack gun myself but it failed. Inspiration, what should I need. Thanks!

Stunning stuff! Excellent Shokk Attack Gun and the weathered yellow is exactly how imagined Bad Moon Orks would be.

Love what you've done with the AoBR Warboss, simple but effective.

I bet your army is looking great on the table now. I know it looks great in its parts

very good SAG... infact, probably the best scratch built one I've seen yet [or the only good scratch built one I've seen yet].
are you gonna be connecting a grot-suckin-tube to the back of the gun?... oh and,
What bitz did you use for it?

**Edit** just noticed the grot being stuffed in the top, hahaha. Class!

    Re: Green is Mean !

Wow, awesome replies Thanks a lot peeps !!

The faceplace of the Warboss is the frontal plate of one of the bikes. I hollowed it out and placed it on a big ork head. It involved some cutting with a dremel and some greenstuffing but worth the effort I think.

The Shokk Attack Gun is (ironically) the Grotzooka from the Killa Kanz box. The moment I saw it, I knew this was going to be my Shokk Attack Gun one way or another. Like it usually goes he idea has been fermenting in my brain for a long long time.

This cross functionality of Ork kitz really is the one reason why I bought the whole Ork Army in one go. Sometimes you just have to see things and fiddle around with it (especially when konvertin doesnt come naturally, as is my case). I sorta built the Shokk Attack gun using blu-tac first so I could see how he would fit together, using different arms, heads, etc until I had something I liked and looked believable. I had one of the spinny bits from the old skool SAG ready but I figured the model was done as he was.

Underneath my Tankbusta Nob with Tankhammer. Still have to make the glyph for the boss pole, it will be most likely one of the explosion glyphs. Just couldn't find a bit and don't feel like cutting one from plasticard right now :P

I think it really looks very painful if he starts swinging that about, both for him and his target hehe.
