This detachment is now finished, with these contributions from Freelancer Rob:
Pegasus Hero
Wizards

We had a couple of snags with the client over this project, not least the fact that we painted the wrong wizard!
So here are a couple of pictures that should clear things up:

And we have some more reinforcements for this Empire army.
First a couple of expansion ranks for existing regiments:
And then a brand new regiment:
Yep, that's gonna hurt if it hits you!

Everything looks good. You really made my day with that out of production Hero on Pegasus. Its one of my all time favorite models!
Fantasy log of...Stuff: Vampire Counts, Warriors of Chaos, Southlands Ogres, Cryx plus whatever else tickles my fancy.
Nice pegasus hero.![]()
I loved the black paintjob Rob did on it.

I think this project (or this stage of it at least) is finally finished!
It's been a bit of an effort for reasons both internal and external. The main thing was when the hard work or Freelancer Gareth was all for naught when the parcel he sent back to me was apparently stolen. This was a particular blow for Gareth as not only did it mean he didn't get paid, but also it meant that he lost his carefully painted Inquisitor Coteaz model from his own collection which he had sent to me for assessment and photographing for Precinct Omega's bonus system.
As I didn't have any spare crossbowmen handy to replace the stolen ones, I converted the above from spare crossbow arms and Swordsmen bodies, primed them and had them painted up in record time by new team-member, Freelancer Matt who also did the Steam Tank. You can see more of Matt's work (painted with more time and to a higher quality) in the window of Games Workshop Cheltenham.
The Crossbowmen bases are minus their static grass at the moment, but this will be rectified when I do the static grass on the steam tank's base, which is still drying.
Incidentally, the stolen parcel was signed for. But not by me. As this is the second parcel that's gone missing between me and Freelancer Gareth, I have a strong suspicion that there's a thief in a sorting office near him. I suppose that I should be flattered that the work of Precinct Omega is thought worthy of theft, but we'll be addressing parcels differently in future!

Following some feedback from the client, I did some touching-up on the Steam Tank, so here's a shot of the other side, so you can see my funky freehand gothic script:

A new batch of minis is incoming for this army. Here's a small regiment of Archers, painted to Level 1 by Freelancer Mike:
It's worth observing that they are all the same colour. I took two pictures, each with five men in it, within about thirty seconds of each other in the same lightbox, with the same camera but, for some reason, one of them had a huge yellow shift. No idea why.

Lovely empire you have done there! Really liking the wizards and that warrior priest with great weapon
Any chance you can email me on deadboyuberbyte@gmail.com about a possible commission?
Thankyou and keep up the good work
Finally:
From Freelancer Sean. *I received these ages ago and forgot to take a picture of them.
Also, I've just noticed that the base rims are the wrong colour on a couple of the character models, so I've got to fix that!
