If it has to be GW figures, you could try mixing Chaos Marauder, Kislev and Middenheimer figures and parts.

Yeah, I guess Foundry does make the best Vikings. I don't know if you guys have seen the Norse list, but it's at http://www.mordheimer.com/ under experimental warbands. Looks really fun, although I don't know how well the Wulfen would do. Pretty expensive, one wound, etc.

The Chaos Marauders are really quite good for Vikings, but the Foundry ones look cool as well.

I did my Norse BB team using the Marauders Sprue

You can quite easilly make them very Norse looking by just being careful and using some carving skills to remove the majority of the Chaos Icons

If you want something a little different try Shadowforge at www.shadowforge.com.au they are a small Australian company that do a nice range of norse valkyrie in their fantasy historical section.

I used Chaos Marauders, they are all plastic which was good, and they didnt come out too bad. The Wulfen is very expensive, i took another beserker and some archers rather than the wulfen. I was kinda annoyed that i cant use any wolves unless you have a wulfen. But a beserker i think is more worthwhile at the beginning anyways.
One downside to the Marauders is they have no bow accomodation. So i ended up using 3 bows from the regular human sprues from fantasy. Big guys, small arms, kinda funny lookin
