and the tau are lookin great as well. i also like the one battlesuit with the shield up. on that clear base you used are you going to paint effects on it like you did for that wraithlord awhile back?

also, i like the FW tau suits, the smoothed ones. the curves on those fits in alot better than the boxy bodies to the curves of their tanks an everything.
Thanks mate, no I won't paint any effect on it, I tried it but it disturbs the colours of the suit and the white. I went with light blue and purple, but it doesn't work.

Yeah they are very nice, but I think I managed to improve the GW suits a bit, though, at least that is what I hope haha :-)

Hey Mart Merci, yeah half an hour weathering for each suit went in the guys, I did it very carefully. Thanks for mentioning it Keeps me going.

It is funny after getting some nice responses, not as much as I thought for such a big update, I get a rate of 3 from someone who didn't even comment. At least, guys, at least let me know what you don't like/like and how I can do it better.
Ratings withough comments doesn't help anyone, also I don't think I am running around a 3 star log, but maybe that is just me :-)

I will keep updating though, no matter if I get 2 comments per 100 views

Great update with the Tau. I love the colour scheme and the weathering on them is very unique, great look to them.

I love this kind of log, lots of variety- keep it up!

I especially like the harlequin whips- it adds so much to already great models. The jade tau are also great, though I'm not a fan of the battlesuits, but i'm really taken with that shield generator- well done!

    Hey Memnon,

of course I will :-) merci, yes I second that, they are more dynamic than the swords. I think some like them, some don't like them, I would like to have the FW ones, too, but who can afford so many of them. :-) Haha yeah I tried to bring some new ideas and conertions in it, don't know if everyone has noticed them yet :-) e.g.: the extra knee pads :-)

Update time for those who were waiting for them :-)
    ORKS.

The promised mega nobz, converted out of many many parts, so to say "cyborks". I had much fun building them.
Left side combi shoota-rockitz, right side synchro shoota.
"How did 'ey get in da armourz?" "Dunno, but it'z baadazz!"

    TAU.
I did some kroots and hounds and I am quite happy with the result.
I have 28 more kroots and 2 hounds to do haha.
Wanted to go with a nice contrasting sheme to the jade green of the other tau, but keep the colour range within (the crisis' eyes are purple).
I also added some warpaintings to break the dark colours.

Thanks for looking and leave some comments if ya like, ya gitz!

Beautiful orks! The turquoise is a nice change to the traditional colour-shemes. The front wheels of the jeep are from Lego, right?

Nope, sadly not they came with the car, the backweels not. Actually The whole trukk has an engine in it and can roll haha :-)

Right now I am on my Avatar, but I am at my friend's today, looking for bitz and working on a gaming table.

your colour scheme is great! my favourite colours are turquoise greens and I really like the orks done this way. Combined with the rusty orange and checkers is great, these sort of compliementary schemes are tricky to pull off but you did it. How much of your avatar did you scratch build? Its always nice to see an avatar done differently to the usual flamey burnt look.

Thanks Hush, next on the table is the farseer, I primed him today. But other things first.. yes I didn't want to go over the top with the freehand and the checkers look really nice.

Hey Nutz :-) Glad that you also think it works. It is nice to have a eldar army on the table/in the shelf where all units are connected trough colors

    Hey clansman :-),

thank you, yep my favorites are also blues and greens, mostly the colour jade. I am happy that you got what I was after, the complimentary colours. The belly part, both shoulders/arm connections and the hair on his helmet are scratchbuilt. I had to make them for the "screaming" stance and I think they work well with the rest, esp. the stochmach part.

Proud to announce some CHAOS is on it's way.
2 Cybots, converted with melee weapons and all, haha I will start painting them today in their red glory.

    As said CHAOS is next.
Some teasers for you. (yes wysiwyg: he has synchro bolters on the front of his weapons)
The first time I try myself with nmm and I quite like how it is turning out, it takes a long time to paint, though.
What do you think? Of course it isn't finished, but shall I stay with the nmm or paint it with metallic colours?
