Nice to see the city terrain in use and I quite like how the hair goes onto the arm of your Kitsune.

Enjoy the time with the young one, but do not feed the kid brushes!

Ah yes, I googled it. It looks really cool!

Thanks! Ah my 4 month old has yet to show interest in brushes, fortunately. I suppose it will come in time?

Indeed, I don't feel like there's enough brushes to go around if my family members start eating them!
    Thanks for the compliment, btw

So I've had 2 games of bloodbowl with ogres recently. Didn't take any photos but it was a lot of fun. Lost both games 0-2 (1st game against humans, 2nd game against orcs). I just can't seem to hurt the opposing team to get some SPP onto the ogres and the random MVP keeps going to the snotlings. The first one with 5 SPP got killed in the 2nd game. Can't seem to get a break with these guys. Does anyone know if this normal for ogres then? We're developing the teams long term, so I'm actually hoping that in the long run, they'll get some useful skills enough to make them worth the fun.

I had a lot of fun being able to throw team mate, dodging out on a 2+ with snotlings, using snotlings to gang up on opponents (the look on their faces are hilarious when it happens, no matter what the result), but I'm just afraid that long term, they might not develop well. The thing is, I don't want the games to either devolve into pity matches (because some of my gaming buddies are pretty nice) or becoming the punching bag in the end (not much fun for me). I'd like to keep the games engaging for both me and my opponents. The bashing game doesn't seem to be working thus far, but am I being too impatient? I've never really developed teams because our group is small and past leagues/tournaments have tended to be rather short, and then we re-start the teams. This time, we decided we'll keep the teams through the years, so I'm hoping things will even out eventually. I don't feel the need to win any matches. I just want to be able to keep up with the other teams to keep things interesting enough. Any chance of that happening?

Awesome that you are playing Blood Bowl. We may get some new guys over at our local club next club night who are going to play BB. Who knows, maybe they will get some of our members into it. Not sure I will, too many projects on the go... Though I do have some terribly botched up Empire Crossbowmen which I won't be using anymore... Hmmm.... Without the armour they are suitably British in their approach to football.

@Daniel: Blood Bowl is like the best game ever! haha...

Maybe you can just play the game and ignore the painting part? That's what we're doing for now until we get psyched up enough to paint our teams.

Well, on something not so miniatures related, here's what I saw in the supermart today:

I thought I had seen it all, at least with fruit. Today, at the supermart, I saw a Mr. T orange, and then I knew that this world still had a few surprises left for me. Who says nature doesn’t have a sense of humor?

He does indeed seem to pity the fool. And no, I did not buy it. Because I would not dare to eat an orange that looks like Mr. T. Maybe if I were Chuck Norris. But I'm not.

And mods, sorry this isn't miniatures-related, but I just couldn't resist showing the pics. I promise it won't happen too often.

I think it needs a bit more contrast around the mohawk, a bit of devlan mud perhaps? Otherwise great painting!

Break your promises please! Randomness like this is awesome... And one could argue fruits are miniature... somethings... So whatever, keep 'em coming.
I've seen things too... I should've taken pics of it.

I would go back and try to do as you have advised, but I'm not sure what Mr. T orange would have to say about that...

    And my mini for ToFP:

And the army (so far) shot:

    And one final random pic:

Several years back, I saw these markings on a road near where I live. They are still there. Everytime I walk past it, I wonder what could have made those markings on the road. The logical side of me says it was probably some construction vehicle. The not-so-mundane side of me said it’s got to be a manticore. Oh well…

Hahaha... Awesome sauce. You should send that toilet picture to engrish.com, they like that sort of stuff.
Anyways, the Kitsune looks lovely. Very different from the one on your website but I like it. I will show it to my wife, she will like it too, for some inspiration. We will paint ours when I get back from London.

The kitsune looks really pretty. Nice job on that one. I really like the shot of the Ashigaru(?). Ranked-up units with spears always are nice to look at.

Awesome stuff, love the board and battle report. Love the halflings even more. That's a really nice idea very well executed.

Thanks! I love ranked up units too. They look nice and hide my not-so-awesome painting

Thanks richy! Haven't seen you at your plog for a while. Glad to see you're back with those wonderful bloowdbowl conversions.

Looked through some of your recent projects, going to go back and check out all of it when I'm not at work... ;P

The statue you did in the Winterscape for 40k is really good, especially like the finish on the statue itself.

That motivational wall-painting is incredible, just might have to steal that for our next batch of Necromunda terrain building.

That demon prince is awesome, really like how you've managed to make the severed body a part of the Daemon Prince, it's not just on him but actually a part of his body. Great sculpting!

Great work on the chariot herald, really like the lava paintwork and the face sculpted onto the chariot!

Awesome shapechanging Kitsune, didn't realize you actually sculpted all of these Nipponese minis yourself, I suppose I would have if I'd started at the beginning of your plog.

Great work anyway, you obviously have some sculpting talent!

Ah, Blood Bowl, been trying to get a Blood Bowl league going for a while now but so far we've only got three prospective players. The teams usually evens out after a while, but it might be harder playing a team focusing causing casualties to get SPP's I always had fewer SPP on my Treeman than on the goal scorers in my Wood Elf team.

Thanks for the compliments and the advice about Blood Bowl. I will keep the faith and keep playing then. The Ogres are fun to play with in any case.

Do show and tell when you do the Necromunda terrain. Would love to see it.

I whipped together two recruiting posters yesterday that I hope will work as murals, I'll probably try making some semi intact buildings more or less soon, I'll tell you when I've gotten to it!

Ahhh... I realized that when I looked at the pics again. To be honest though, I don't have the kind of skill to do that on purpose. But it would have been cooler if it was!
