I have actually started watching a lot of the ebay auctions, mostly escher and ratskins, to see how much my own gangs are worth/how much it is to buy the remaining models.

Another crazy one is the Necromunda ganger with 2 swords going for 18 pounds and 2.70 P&P

Sometimes I think the prices come up randomly. I've got oop stuff for very little (when I thought would fetch much more) and seen some stuff go for a small fortune. Got the Van Saar plasma cannon, metla gun, bolter and five extras for $32 including postage. The only other time I've seen these models come up was the plasma cannon (on its own) for $40 (buy it now).

I just been doing a stop of retail therapy and checking out all the shine toys on ebay. One thing that did catch my eye was 11 rat skins or as he puts it ratskins/ chaos cults. Their currently on their for £10 and three postage. Not quite 16 of one there. The lots got until nine this morning to run so might gain a little. It a shame really I've spent up this month already so can't justify having a punt my self.

I've also been lucky with Van Saar. Recently got a heavy plasma for £6ish, another heavy plasma for £3ish, melta leader for £5, and bolter guy for £3. Tag on some of the scummers who can often sell for £10 each for low prices like £3 or less. And an Escher with plasma pistol and pick for £1.50.

Some of those I was the only bidder. My theory is the starting price was too high on some, and the others had incorrectly spelled titles. Bad paint jobs can also affect it, although a few hours in Fairy Power Spray cleans up any metal figure nicely.

I guess it comes down to being patient and checking often.
