OK,

So I just got through a big push getting my army ready for the Quake City Rumble. I finally built a proper display board and added a ride for my sea guard. I also go most of my Chrace stuff painted as well (I typically use tourneys to motivate to get things painted). Now that 8th is here I will need to be adding all kinds of things, so here is a project log to get me moving forward.

I built this boat for my display board and scenery. Its made from a greek trireme kit and some bits. I also finished painting up my second unit of Sea Guard.... Here's to hoping the new ones arn't waaayyyy better

hese are the old metal sea guard, I have always loved these models. I can fit a whole company of 20 plus a couple RBTs. Perfect for shore patrol.

Every Proper Chrace list needs a Grifon rider, in his ancestrial Dragon armor (in my case ). I really hope this moves to a hero choice, Griffons always get shot up so badly..

Here is my Elven Power Crystal, this ends up on the table here and there (arcane monolith)


The plan is to put a LED light into the base of this feature so that it glows Blue and Red. I ran out of time for the tourney though, and now... after all those gems, I need a break...

Thanks! some people don;t like the water "splashing" around the battlefield, but hey it was a fun project ;-)

The ship is amazing. Works really nicely with the high elves and is a great scenery piece. The water wave effect on the bases look super as well, works really well like their marching from the sea onto the beach.
