The arms and weapons are interchangable. You could put the Sorcerer body with the sword or spear/lance/halberd arm. There are two Killy Lord heads so you don't have to go with baldy. The sorcerer body is all one piece so you cannot put Killy Lord head on Sorcerer body. There are two bodies and you can make them both to have both Sorcerer Lord and a Killy Lord. Very detailed model with each piece numbered and pretty clear instructions. Hope that answers your question.

Hi all,

Does anyone else find this thread far too massive and cumbersome to read? I know it contains good info but if I was knew I would never bother trailing through 200 pages of posts to find the stuff relevant to my selection of models. As a long time WoC player I also find it refreshing to go back and read the mathematical reason as to why I don't play marauder horsemen or forsaken, perhaps a situation could come along when they were useful to me.

I'm not a persistent forum user but I've seen rumour threads get really massive and then condensed, is it feasible to do it here? Who typically puts the time and effort into this?

Any advice for facing vampire counts at 1000pts other then kill the vampire? my usual list is:

Chaos Sorcerer with second level, Mark of Tzeentch, Disk of Tzeentch, Golden eye of Tzeentch and Charmed shield 170pts
Core
20 Chaos warriors with shields, Mark of Tzeentch, Champion, Musician and Standard Bearer with the Blasted Standard 410pts
25 Marauders with Mark of Tzeentch, Shields, Musician, standard bearer,Chieftain and Light Armour 170pts
Special
5 Chaos Knights with Standard bearer, musician and Mark of Tzeentch 250pts
1000pts
I'd properly drop the blasted standard as vampire counts are not famed for their shooting, possibly take third eye of Tzeentch and weapon on the sorcerer and/or take a champion on the knights, or possibly give some magic banners to the knights and warriors, thoughts?

I have a game against Lizardmen on the weekend, only faced them once before with my warriors and got owned. I have no idea what my opponent will take but is there anything you guys would definitely take against the cold-bloods?

Magic defence. Probably a couple of Hellcannons (one at least). If you're going to take anything frenzied, make sure it's in the BSB/general bubble, otherwise all those skinks will ruin your day. I've also found the Third Eye to be really useful, as the Slann seems to always be a Loremaster (is that in its core rules? If not, my opponents always buy it), and that way you can piggyback his spells!

Dont be afraid to go toe to toe with lizardmen a chaos warrior horde to face off against the inevitable temple guard armed with great weapons m.o.t. banner of rage will help.If skink skirmishers are around small knight units will make great hunters and double up for stegedon hunting.Law of nurgle hurts them, low initiative and or low toughness troop types,although dont count on getting any spells off.Another magical option is to disc up a sorcerer and keep him well away from the slanns line of sight and 24" away also to avoid his nasty tricks,but then you have to avoid all the blow pipes(especially the big one).And yeah SkawtheFalconer is right im pretty sure they are lore masters so third eye will come in handy also.

No, just 3 units (excluding characters and/or WM, not sure which).

Minimum legal composition is 3 units and 1 character, with at least 25% of the points in Core units, max 25% of Lords, Heroes and Rares, and max 50% of Specials.

Characters are not counted as units for this purpose, but everything else does (warmachines, monsters, warbeasts, etc).

Kill the General and bring magical attacks. Attack along the whole front so that he cannot raise everything back, or delete units in one round (the former is usually a bit easier).

Hey people so i have a warriors of chaos army and i wish to do a no mark army i know my characters will be themed for example (my chaos lord being called Nazrar the dread knight of chaos). Do you guys think this kind of army could be powerful
