    Thank you Cassarus.

    Here are some wip of my first abomination, still plenty to do, heads, some sculpted like the skaven artwork cover, and some from chaos warhounds. Still debating whether i should add limbs or not.

    I really like your sculpting! though I do think the vermin lord's tale may be a bit too thick. Those doom flayers are really creepy, and I think the abomination is coming along nicely.

    @mdiscala thanks man.

    @kaiser_resiak, thanks, and completley agree with you on the vermin lord, when i get back home to it during xmas, I'm going to finally finish him off, tail shall be plucked out and totally redone, along with his weapon, well the shaft not the blade.

    now an update on throt, he's almost there -

    Thanks Kaos, the Handler is mean't to be Throt the Unclean and as for colours, I'm thinking greenish sickly skin tones for the vermin lord and for Throt plain old brown with a dark green for the robes as form the coloured pictures I've found on the web throt seems to have a greenish robes and gw's packmasters seem to as well.

    Now onto some wip of my second big beast, my counts as doom wheel for the moulder masses im attempting to build, a cockroach based idea (sewers, rats and all that), and the idea being one of the large insectoids caught from the desert created by the great maw, can't remember where i read this but more than likely the OK book.

    Half the limbs have been replaced by stilts created from the corpse cart, the main frame also being teh corpses form the corpse cart, main weapon a storm vermin halberd, and handler/mutator is a storm vermin. Most of my mutators will be made form storm vermin, as i figure the more powerful skaven in Clan moulder are the stronger ones which in warlord clans form the storm vermin regiments but in Clan Moulder these stronger vermin are used to control and handle the beasts, rather than the scrawnier packmaster.

    UPDATE

    well of sorts, doing a small skaven project on my summer break from uni, and if there's steam i may continue some of them after summer.

    Initially I had no plans of continuing any skaven models, was simply happy with the few conversions I made, but i recently received a event only skin wolf, unfortunately Forgeworld don't seem to be aware that their original casting process of resin trumps finecast resin, I mean just damn. But this isn't about bashing finecast but rather what I've chosen to do, almost all the hands and the head of the skin wolf were warped full of bubbles, or well in the case of the head one half just seemed to belong to another lupine entirely, so I weighed out my options and eventually I came up with the idea of converting it into a vermin lord. I have to say I'm liking it much more than my orginal sculpt at the beginning of the blog.

    The project itself will actually not focus on skaven but rather cultists of the Horned Rat, the dregs, subhumans and treacherous heretics living in the squalid tunneles of Estalia. Their leaders will be Arch-Corrupters of the Rat, mutants bearing mutations akin to vermin (teeth, tails, fur), these foul vermin-kin are wizards able to use the skaven lores (warlocks and and plague priests).

    I'll post more on the army concept when I knock up some more conversions.

    Here are some wip pics of the vermin lord conversion.

    and a size comparison pic with a wip cultist.

    Way to salvage a nice model from a bad cast. Nice sculpting work. He reminds me a bit of Frank the Bunny from Donny Darko
