    Old gor and ungor boxset

Does anyone know where i could find pictures of the old ungor/gor sprues?
I want to do a few conversions and was just wondering if these would be better than the current models.

    There you go: http://www.kerlin.de/alt/tm/horde/miniaturen/sprue.gif.

They are very similar to the new or so I doubt they would be any better for you (depending on what you want to convert them to ofc).

In terms of conversions. The kits honestly haven't changed that much.
The only real exception is that Ungors used to have their hands and shields seperate, while now there are only a few arms (Except archer arms) that do.
Gors are pretty much the same build of body, 2 arms, head and horns. Their left arm used to double up as a shield arm if you cut off the weapon, nowdays the shield arms come with shield attached and there are also additional hand weapon arms seperate (So better off than the old ones).
The Gor weapons are a tad different in style as well.
Ungors are body, 2 arms and head.

So unless you're specifically thinking about doing a conversion on an Ungor, and you need the left arm to be seperate from the shield, there's not much point (other than for cost effectiveness) of getting the old set.

The old set are very similar to the new sets. The only reason (I believe) they were remade is because of the elimination of the herd rule, the separation of gors and ungors into their own units.

There are slight differences, but it's not anything drastic as say the old metal minotaurs to the new plastic ones.

Also bear in mind that the bases in the old box were all 25mm slotted bases

Ungors are very different, but the Gors are the same.

    Thanks guys.
I was hoping the body and legs of the gors would be in two pieces, making a centigor conversion less messy looking.
But i guess i'll chop up the newer ones and get my green stuff on.

Check out PsycosisPC's threads, he made some Centigors from a horse kit and the old Beastman Herd, well worth looking at.
