Yeah! True-scale-thingies! They all look really nice. Is it just me, or is the bareheaded Assault Marine a mime?
Hes a vampire :P
Maybe so, but with the white skin and black areas around the eyes, and the black (or almost) outfit, he really looks like a mime. But I now realise that all of these things apply to vampires as well.
Hey how did you get the fantasy cw to work? nice painting.

Wow! Those are dang saucy! Did you black line your gold helmets?
If you barf up tartar sauce does it become retartar suace
Very very cool! I really like the look of them, well painted and nicely converted. They all lool really good and unless I'm mistaken you have converted the assault marines legs have you not to make them more dynanic?
EDIT: My only concern is that the gold on your hounor guard helmets has brush strokes showing and (therefore) looks as though the paints should have been watered down a bit more.

I found those figures to be inspiring. There is a dark tone to the units that is captured very nicely.

they are watered, the helmets are meant to appear like beaten copper, looking at them compared to the photo it just seems like some weird effect of the lightOriginally Posted by immortal99

Lookn' pretty good to me, a couple of the honor guards feet highlights look a little thick though.
Excellent work - although you'll have to forgive me for still liking the IWs better, but these are still very very cool.
P.S I'm linking this thread to someone who wanted advice on encorparating marine and CW parts - hope you don't mind.
