First Terrain Project

heya everyone i just got my hand on some balsa wood and was wondering what i should make with it. i have never made anything like this before so all help is appreciated

Kind of hard to just start tossing out ideas without knowing which way you might want to go to begin with.

i play mainly fantasy my current army is Beastmen. the end goal is to make a 6 by 4 gaming table for fantasy and 40 with interchangeable parts. at the current time im focusing on the fantasy side.

Well - with a supply of balse and Beastmen being your primary army - I would probably look at doing some timber frame type buildings.

You build it up a lot like you would a full sized one - posts, beams, rafters and all that. Card stock replaces surfaces like the roof and walls between the posts. Start small, and play around with it. Nothing is more fun than pillaging an undefended village for a herd of Beastmen. If you screw up - don't worry...use it to practice doing damage and then you have a timber frame ruin.
