Tau - Army Project Log

Right ill be starting this army in april but i thought id get my ideas down first well first of all ill be getting some crisis suit from FW and im thinking of some poses ive thought of one where the crisis suit is against the wall, cant find any pictures though...

suggestions for poses would be appritiated

Its an urban army and im gonna convert as much as possible i want a really unique army

one thing you should do once you get those FW suits, is to (after cleaning of course) test fit. test fit like mad. get sticky tac, trust me, you'll need it. you just can't pose them without it, it makes shaping your ideas 100x easier.

with that out of the way, you also need to remember that tau look very mechanical and smooth, if you're going to be doing a lot of conversions/GS/plasticard, try to keep it in the style of the model, so very little rough lines (bar kroot/vespid). if done right, everything will look ace.

*there was also a really awesome looking tau R'hymir, wth his sheild jammed into a BT, but i can't for the life of me find the post.

kk thanks for the sticky tack advice my convertion work will be mostly on the kroot (hunting some IG)... and im gonna spend some time on every models base i need to get some plasticard and mesh to keep to the urban theme
