Thread: French GD Project

  1. #1

    HG Imperial Log (Custodes, Mechanicum...)

    Hey Guys !!

And welcome in a thread who should be rather dynamic these next months

I introduce miself. My name is Nicolas PATEY, I'm 29 I'm French (what justifies my poor English level) and I worked in the Games Workshop Company for 7 years. First as K-timer in the Caen Store (in Normandy), next as Manager in Aix en Provence (sooth France) and to finish, nearly 5 years in the Event as painter. Then I left to open my own Store in my homeland, the Normandy.
So efter 2 years, GW offer to me to become a PREMIUM store and I accept. As "PREMIUM" GW asked me to make a gaming table for the French Games Day.

Well, the idea is to make a Big Ork fortress attack by a Big Ultramarine force.
Nothing very particular, but I dicaded to make a Warlord Titan for the Imperium and an Ork Mega Gargant for... Orks

So end of writing, let see pics !!

Here is some wood boards which will be the base of the structure

    Same boards cutted...

    And assembled

Thats all for today, but I give you rendez-vous next tuesday for the legs !!

    Byebye,

Your English may not be the best, but it makes nice reading. I am subscribed just to see where this goes. If you complete what you have proposed it will be an awesome sight!

It looks very promising so far but a lot of hardwork! I'll stick with the plastic packs. Merci!

    Re: French GD Project

    Evening friends, good evening !!

Well my titanic day in rather badly begun today, because I realized that has cause of a mistake in calculation, the inside of feet were going to overlap, I am going to try to repair that tomorrow.

Otherwise, I not bad advanced all the same because the dressing of the high part is almost ended.

Then, a small photo of an idea that came to me when I opened the kit of Pod for toes...
The articulation in base of Pod..

Finally a small photo which pleases me well, because one see all the scale of the project there.

    That's all for tonight
    TY
