@ Hellbrandt Grimm: Your Warlord is one piece of nice work !
Wish i could build this fast
How heavy is "HE" now ? Can you lift him yourself or do you have to split him down for transport ?
If yo want any help/advise with the Warhounds, just let me know.
(mine is under SDKFZs scratchbuilt warhound here on the imp tread if you want to take a look.)

"He" is curently in my store, so I don't have nothing to weigh it there... but last time I weigh it, it was 6KG (sorry, don't know how the weight is calculated in UK/US)
It is completely stuck, I can't split it, I should have to make a special wood box to take it to the GD...
I saw it, it probably the best Scratchbuilt model I've seen... I subscribed to use some of your ideas
TY guy !! Don't know if it's "unearthly" but when I work on a project who I like, I can't stop miself, I realy want to finish it quick !!
So here is the end of the right part, the side protection of the head... And the 1900th rivet (lol)
And the superior plate of the head
Finally, as I said earlier, Forge World refuse to help me in this project, thus, there will be the least possible of resin on the table, so here is the first part of my first Warhound...
Here the mail I sent to request some help...
Here is their answer:Dear sir,
I am Nicolas PATEY, formerly a painter / modeler within GAMES WORKSHOP
France 's Events team, and presently the manager of my own independent store.
I've been granted 'Premium' status by GW France's Trade department, due to
my involvement and success. As such, I will set up a demo table during Games
Day France 2011.
This table will field Titan-s ca le models in an Apo ca lypse setting.
To that end, I'm currently building a 40K-s ca led Warlord Titan, which will
be opposed to an Ork Mega-Gargant in the middle of a 8' by 14' Ork fortress
(based on 22 modular GW table panels).
I'm currently stirring emulation through various modeling and gaming forums,
using my own ongoing projects. They include many Forge World kits, used
during in-store Apo ca lypse demo games : both Squiggoth models, Nobz and
Warboss on Warbike... Plus one each of the Big Trakk, Battle Fortress, Gun
Wagon, Fighta, and Megadread.
Here are the relevant links in English :
My Orks => http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227378
The Titan => http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=275623
The completed table will be the best possible show case for Forge World
models. In order to create a mutually profitable display, would you like to
sponsor the project, by providing Forge World models ?
For example, imagine the visual impact created by the sight of the Warlord
escorted by a pair of Forge World Warhounds, and the Mega-Gargant flanked by
a Kil Bursta and Kil Krusha.
Thanks for your time and attention !
Best regards,
Nicolas PATEY
I think that they are right, they can't give figure to every persons who ask them, but I don't think that every person who ask suggest them making a battlefield with a Warlord Titan and a Mega Gargan used as BIIIIIIG FW show case... Especially that GW supplied me many materialHi,
Thanks for your e-mail – the project certainly looks impressive, and we would like to wish you the best of luck!
Unfortunately we do not provide free samples of Forge World kits for such purposes. We receive so many requests for product that we simply ca nnot fulfil them all due to the sheer cost in production, materials and manpower in producing kits such as Titans.
As such, please accept our apologies, and again all the best with the project, we certainly look forward to seeing the finished game!
Regards,

@ Hellbrandt Grimm: Thanks for those answers. No need to recalculate for me i use kgs aswell
About moving him, call me ill take my truck by and if you do lift lugs on him i can use my crane to winch him aboard.
Thanks for liking my Warhound, have you seen Blackadders ? Its much better then mine tbh.
That foot looks very good sofar, looks like my beads have spread
Warlord also coming along nicely. I know that riveting sucks, trust me.
Great idea for that carapace eagle !
Sad that FW wont help you. I thougt they liked to promote their models on occasions such as this. But i guess its only on a lend basis and for GW events.
Wish you the best of luck on you work, Mate !

Hey !!
Lets go for today work !!
So I started the second shoulder by the back (like for the first) I ketp the original Epic Scale wird idea... The door with the ladder who don't go anywhere...
For the head, started with small strips of plasticard
Then i Used milliput to join it, just have to sand it tomorow and hope that the result will be good...

I olso work on my Warhound first leg...
That's it for today...
TY for reading...
@ Hellbrandt Grimm: Woa, that Warlord just keeps getting better an better.
Like that you kept that "mystrious" ladder. ( I guess the Adeptus Mechanicus have a rig or vehicle witch meets up to this ladder. )
That Warhoundleg also looks very nice.
Only Three more to do
/ SDKFZ
This is surely awesome work!
I really love it! I can't say anymore, because I'm lacking words!![]()
Love that you kept the ladder, it's really awesomeI think that all the titan designs except the warhounds has some funny doors. The Mars pattern reaver has a dorway exit that just goes down, the epic Lucius Reaver has several doors with ladders that go nowhere and then the epic warlord as you mentioned. The only one who has a functional door is the warhound, as the platform that sits in the cabine in between the doors leading to the cockpit and the engine room is actually a elevation rig to get aboard the titan, as the funny looking consoles it's hooked up to with the chains are actually crane motors, so it works kinda like an elevator. Not many people realises this, and neither did I till I got to build a FW warhound. If you like I can easily provide pictures of it (or any other detail as I have the two FW warhounds I'm painting for a commission) just write me

Amazing! I can't wait for the next update! Things that make your warlord stand out from the rest is its size, detail and a great head model. Awesome! Also maybe pile up some putty and dirt around its fee to make it slightly burying itself under its sheer mass.
@ SDKFZ : Thank you, ans as you told, 3 more...
@ The damned artificer : Thank you for offering me pics, but some off my friends bought FW Warhound and never assembled them... So I can ask parts I need to see
@ Jayman : the putty and dirt is a realy good idée, I'll do it to to hide the left foot imperfections...
@ Averybody else : Thank you for your congratulations
So, today was a great day...
I wake up this morning by saying to me that this evening head would be finished...
And...
Tata !!!
This is not totaly finished, I have many, many and many detail to add, but that Warlord head is now a "Warlord head"
So here is the beast just after 1 hour sanding...
With the firsts volumes...
And on it's place.
I have some more of cables, rivets, plates and details to add, but now I am already satisfied...
Byebye !!

@ Hellbrandt Grimm: That head looks very nice.
Keep it up, Mate !
/ SDKFZ
Absolutely Great!
You really make me wish I had enough space to build one of those, too!
I am weak...
I told that I wouldn't begin weapons as long as everything else wouldn't be ended to be sure to preserve motivation...
But today I tore...
And just one more pic cause didn't take many photos today
First, I wanted to make a photo of the "beast" with it arm, but it did not stay in position, and as it is not ended, I didn't want to stick it, thus here is just a pic of the complete play...
@ Hellbrandt Grimm: Sad, but i know inspiration comes and goes
And then theres all of those things you have to do besides building Titans
Its looking massive now !
How long is that gatlingarm ?
Keep up the great work, Mate !
/ SDKFZ
@ Hellbrandt Grimm: I thought so. Its longer than my Reaver is tall
/ SDKFZ
This is one ambitious project! And it's REALLY impressive! Great attention to detail. The head looks just stunning! I hope you can keep up the momentum. I wish you all the best!
