I saw the new high elf plastic dragon princes, and they're damn near perfect blood knights. The style of the armour and helmets, everything, perfect. Paint them crimson and the elves pale ( not that hard) and you has bloodknightz.
I really hope they don't make things that will be realeased later on in plastic, like the Valk. I'd rather they focus on armies that don't get the attention other main ones get. Maybe they should do a few things that relate to the other armies, but don't make it about making specilised stuff for them.
Great news! I really hope for Chaos Dwarves to return. And I would love T-Rex'y large monster. Oh and I need a Kroxigiant thing as well.

very excited about this, and if they are chaos dwarves, even more so for my warriors of chaos themed around them :3, going to be tasty, i'l probably buy whatever they come up with, unless its terrain..

That's not the way it works, FW didn't make a Valk to get you by. It was so popular that GW scanned it and made it plastic, same with the Baneblade.
Lizardmen used to have giant sea turtles iirc, I believe there was one in the Generals Compendium
The reason people keep bringing it up is because there was an announcement a while ago that Chaos Dwarfs were going to come back and that a Fantasy Forgeworld was going to do them.
So now that they have officially announced Warhamme Forge the only product to talk about is the one we were told they were going to do eventually.
Chaos Dwarfs. (which frankly, I couldn't care less about)
If they want people to talk about something else, they they should announce something else that they are doing, otherwise we are going to fill the vacuum with the only information we have.

I'm indifferent about this, I hope that it will be great for those of you who care. If they release something mega awesome for the High Elves and I happen to have a ton of money just lying around then maybe I'll buy something.

Harry, it sounds like an IA expansion style thing for Fantasy. There have been rumours of several big things from forge world to do with fantasy.
IIRC they are; (i may have some or all of these wrong)
-Dark Elf Ships
-High Elf Ships
-Dwarf airship
-the rest eludes me
Essentially additional content for every army...

well being the tool that i tend to be, i'll probably buy anything they release for the high elves though i'll be cursing about the money all the way.
i hope they have some lizardmen stuff... i'd really like a couatl and a thunder lizard and maybe am even nicer slann with a complete palanquin (or an even more savage/impressive looking stegadon)

All I could find was where BoLS reported that GW announced in a seminar at GD:Chicago 2009 that Chaos Dwarfs would definitely be returning.

Harry, I don't know if you were directing that at me or not, seems like it from the order of the posts, but I have, in fact, read the first post. It is advertising copy that translates as "We're going to do stuff." There is nothing to discuss there. I was simply trying to explain, to the several people who seemed confused about it, why so many people were expecting and focusing on the chaos dwarf aspect. Don't know why the two of you lightly jumped on me for trying to explain that.
Presumably we will get lots of pictures from GD:UK and then the real discussion can really begin.
