Thanks, and yes - a tiny bit of Green Stuff could work, plus a bit of boltgun metal to the top of the chain to take the edge off and the illusion will be complete - i'll get to it. Thanks Beppo1234.

It's incredible how well the Mk.III helm goes with the Magneus Craglar model. Also very in tune with the Relictor's MO of preserving artifacts.![]()
To field my Assault Termies as Troops, Tyberos the Red Wake gives the ability amongst others, to give the Troop status to a single squad of Lightning Claw armed Assault Terminators, try getting them off an objective! So without further ado... Tyberos (in Relictor Heraldry) and as a nod to my mates Ultramarines, a scored Pauldron (i'm either defending them, or just killed the blinkered loyal lapdogs...
And some Artillery Fire Support to kill my other mates Tyranid Bugs in their droves...

Tyberos looks great! It is such a nice model to work with... I really like the way you've painted his lightning claws!
The tanks look really cool as well, especially the black areas breaking up the grey. Nice! The Bugs won't like them one bit...
Cheers,

I have added another Dreadnought to the Battle Company, this is in preparation for a friendly mini tournament i amattending in June. I want an Ironclad in Drop Pod to mess up the enemies plans... AV13 in assault/front will certainly mess some people up. So here he is...
I have added plates to protect his vunerable knees and an armoured plate to the rear of his engine block to reflect his better than most Dreadnought's Ironclad status.
Just a quick small update, a new Tactical Squad member to replace on of the Missile Launchers, who has now beenre-badged as a Devastator. I'm currently using a Vulkan Hestan list, so the more Multi-Meltas the better!

Looking awesome dude!
One question, why does your ironclad have a fast attack symbol on his shin when he is an elites choice?
Merely due to the fact that he is an Assault God. That symbol is for 'Assault' according to Insignium Astartes, not for the modern Codex 'Fast Attack Choice'. Perhaps he was an Assault Marine in his previous incarnation before internment into his sarcophagus?Cheers for asking - oh, and he arrives in a Drop Pod! - that's pretty Fast! lol
Cheers SuperduperMatt.
So, progress with the Battle Company continues. I was needing more mobile Anti-Tank so I completed these for this weekends BlogWars friendly tournament. Firstly the converted bike using bits from a Tomb Kings Chariot and a Scout Bike pennant.
And then a shot or two of the squad of bikes... I've tried to make the the two stock models slightly different, different pennants to echo the colours of the army, Black, Grey and Bone, plus the different placement of purity seals and the fact that the driver and gunner are looking to the side on one bike.

Finished my 1750pt friendly tournament army in time for this weekend's BlogWars3. It was good fun, my Vulkan Hestan Vanilla Space Marine Army did quite well until I was tramped by the defending champion who went on to win the tournament again!
Anyway, much fun was had and here is the man himself, finished the day before the tournament... cutting it fine!
He is a mix of bits based on the AOBR Captain, with a Grey Knight metal Halbeard, a Terminator Lightning claw arm and Heavy Flamer nozzle and a plastic Grey Knight head.
Here is the latest addition to the Battle Company, a flier, ahead of the launch of 6th Edn. This one has been put together with magnetized guns, Hvy Bolters or Lascannons. The second one will have Missile Pods. I put on the wings backwards to give it a more streamlined aircraft profile, I prefer it to the stock model. The last pic shows this best, whatcha think?

The model is hideous, but I like the way you have painted it!
This is the war-ravaged world of Warhammer, and there's only WAR!... and hammers.
Cheers Mr Ultra, it kinda grows on you - I quite like it now, and the rules have got better with 6th.
Here's the Army I took to a friendly BlogWarsIII tournament and placed 7th out of 25, not bad I thought. A Vulkan Hestan twin-linked Multi-Melta heavy list for anti-mech, but instead I had deepstriking Nids, SM Scouts with Shrike and 3 turns of night fighting with Necrons...

Quick question Siph, on the standard of the 2nd tactical sergeant, is the red halo a transfer or free handed?
Thanks for stopping by Superdupermatt, it was freehand, built up from around the transfer skull. The numerals and Skulls are transfers, the rest freehand on all the banners. Some of the skulls have been painted over to enlarge the craniums so I can add numerals onto the skull itself.
I have just read through your logs and I love the army you have created. Tyberos looks great and I like your chariots (bikes). I have to say I really like your gunship. The wings deffo look better pointing backwards like you have done. What's next?

Fle, thanks for your words of praise. I'm defo with you on the wings front! Next up is a squad of Devastators with two Plasma Cannons (anti-Termie) and two Missile Launchers (anti-air) to complete my squads of the Battle Company. The first Devastators (in MKIII Iron Armour) seemed to have lucked in with 6th Edn as they already have 4 Missile Launchers for some lovely Anti-Air power! Then some bikes to accompany the lone Biker Sergeant now 6th has given them Toughness 5 all over and nice movement. Then maybe the three remaining Razorback/Rhino transports to complete the Battle Company motor pool. Finally a Command Squad, to include the Apothecary earlier, is the only thing left before I can call the Battle Company complete.
But judging by the progress so far, I will no doubt be diverted by some other shiny new toys to play! The second StormTalon or I've still got a tonne of FW goodies to do - StormEagle, Caestus Assault Ram, 2x Proteus Landraiders, Landraider Terminus, Landraider Crusader, 3x Rapier Laser Destroyers, Relic Contemptor Dread, Chaplain Dread and a MKIV Ironclad Dread.
Phew...
Well the Devastators are in progress, but the bikes won out to be the first completed from the to-do pile. Here is my squad of Space Marine Bikes, complete with two 'old' metal Special Weapons bikers. The Sergeant can be found earlier in this plog, i've had him complete over a year waiting for his squadmates!
