    BoBo´s scenery log

    Hi
    the idea is to post wip´s and finished pieces of scenery!
    This will be a slow log but hopefully by the end there will be enough pieces to fill a table worth...or two!

    To start thing off! A hunting cottage
    Inside is a couple of LED´s with the intended effekt of a burning fire! This was done by stripping a elektronic candle and adding som LED´s....

    Criticism and comments are welcome!

    Nice work, almost looks like its a resin kit from somewhere.

    I doubt it was used here, there is far to much root and detail. But you can make stumps out of the top "nubs?" from pumpkins and gourds.

    Straight Aces bobo!

    I love the root detail on your stump. It add some character. A+

    I'm curious about the walls and the door. Are they balsa or from a kit?

    Re: BoBo´s scenery log

    Hi all and thanx for your criticism!

    @ Wolf Scout Ewan:Thanxs! It´s a fairly simple build so there so need to cicken out !

    @ Daniel36:Thanxs! Yes it scrath built by me! A tutorial off the entire piece might be a bit difficult since a dont have any wip picture....but if your wondering about any details I be more then happy to explain how i did it!

    @ N810:Thanxs! The stump is from the GW plastic tree set, cut down and green stuff added inside the trunk! The extra root are branches left over from the same kit.

    @ insanO: Thanxs! Can't answer if there is a resin kit that looks like this....mine is made of balsa and blue styrofoam!

    @mrtn: Thanxs! (tack )

    @Confessor_Atol: Thanxs! The walls and door is made of balsa! The handle on the door is made of steelwire and cardboard! The windows are not scrath built but taken from a wooden scale model (warship of some sort) and made of lead!

    More pictures of more odd stuff is in the making......i'l post asap

    The islands look great (as does everything on this log).

    Is that bark you have used for the rocks, or did you carve foam?

    Well done. Lovely looking stuff. A rough tutorial on how you made the second set of buildings would be great!

    Great stuff. Your buildings look very nice, I like the LED light you put in the first cottage. Islands are really cool, you did a great job making them look realistic.

    Re: BoBo´s scenery log

    Hi
    Told you this was a slow log
    @Ghost 1 Actual: Sure is!
    @Daniel36: Sorry but that 6 month again
    @imm0rtal reaper: I haven´t taken any pictures of the building in the making so a tutorial is going to be hard to do i'm afraid!

    We are playing a winter campaign (in reallty a few battles) and I did a few quick winter pieces!

    Thanks for looking and feel free to drop back in 6 month or so again
