    Re: Da Waagh Mediko

Merry Christmas to you as well Le Mediko!

Thanks for taking the time to share you modelling work!

It is by far the most amazing Ork Diary I have seen yet. So many ideas to work from (I just got my first Orks for Christmas).

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

    Happy Gaming,

    Allan

    Thanks a lot Fluffy05!
I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with the Orks, the army is great to built with a infinite range of conversion and very fun to play with.

    Re: Da Waagh Mediko

    Happy new year to everybody!

As I needed a nobz to command my bikers, I try to built something heavier and stronger, and convert a kopter to a warbike using some old WW2 model parts.

The work isn't finished yet, I should add the linked shootas, even if I'm a bit afraid it would break the overall line of the warbike.

The conversion is a bit more complicated than the previous one, but not too heavy and I will maybe convert a full nobz biker mob, if I have enough Koptas remain.

That bike looks cool. I agree that the shooters will be difficult to place. I'm sure you'll get it right though.

guns are going to have to go low, below his feet maybe?

also, that's probably the cleanest kopta to nob bike I've seen.

How about mounting the guns like the machine guns on a sidecar like the WW2 German BMW motorbikes?

    One awesome conversion!

    Thank you very much boyz!

One more step on the bike : I change the exhaust pipes and try to add weapons : two Lewiz with round ammo drums.

A simple plastic rod is glued under the bike :

MG comes from the old ork bike :

Mais il y a une seconde version possible avec un canon plus imposant :

There is an option between two models : small or large barrel. I don't now the one I should use. What do you prefer?

Awesome work on those bikes, le Mediko. The Nob is particularly impressive.
So, I love to make requests of highly skilled converters, and a pretty random one has crossed my mind. It has more to do with your location than your current army, but I think you could easily pull it off. What I think would be super cool would be some orks with a GIGN theme. Face visors and heavy riot shields would make for some interesting armored orks.
    Anyhow, excellent work as always

    Looking fantastic!

I definitely prefer the modern, larger barrelled shoota. The other, on this model, seems too small for such a huge bike!

Really stunning stuff, here! Very impressed.

I'm making some Lewis guns for my Ork biplanes - just to ask what did you use for the rectangles which go around the sides of the ammo drum?
(I'm trying to cut mine out individually from normal plasticard sheets at the moment and I can't get the curves right, so they look a bit too random even for Orks).

No pressure, but I'm looking forwards to seeing your continued progress with this.

Agreed. The larger barrells just seem to look "right", the smaller ones don't seem to cut it for some reason...

as always just excellent work! Keep it up.

This is a downright awesome log!
Since you're in for a british/ww2 look, any chance of Stenguns in the hands of those Orks o' yours?
    Keep up the good work!

Stenguns shoota is a very interesting idea! I already use Lewis big shootas, I'll try to find something!
