Name: Areln Horthwell
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 147lbs

Appearance: Though Areln has a muscular yet then build, many consider him to be quite lanky. When looking closely one can see the Bio-Circuitry just beneath his skin. Areln is usually seen wearing his flight jacket of a tee-shirt, cargo pants and flight boots. Arlen is clean shaven with closely cropped blonde hair.

Personality: Like most Glavians Arlen is the stereo typical hot-head and show off. Areln is quick to take up a challenge and will go out of his way to one-up anyone who tries to compete against him.

Weapons: Glavian Needle pistol x2. Combat/Survival Knife.

Wargear: Pilot Suit, Pilot Helmet, Bio-Circuitry.

Background: Growing up on Glavia Areln was born an instinctive pilot. After completing his training at the Glavian Flight Academy he was inducted into the Imperial Navy. This did not bother Areln as it gave him the opportunity to show off his skills in combat. Areln's show boating and bragging quickly earned him the ire of his squadron mates and soon he found himself with out a wing-man while in the thick of battle. This led to him being left for dead when his Fury Interceptor took heavy damage during an offensive strike during the Battle of Talforan IV. Luckily for Areln the Golden Chariot was passing through the system and noticed his distress beacon. After healing up he offered his services to the Rogue Trader Captain Shara Green, seeing as he felt no need to return to the Navy since they decided he was not worth saving.

Since joining the crew of the Golden Chariot he has served as Shara's personal pilot as well as pilot for many hazards duties, which Areln has professed many times that the more hazardous the better. He has also been known to lead boarding and repelling parties, using his Glavian Needle pistol to extreme effect by ricocheting his shots of the bulkheads and around the corner. Once Areln learned of Lord Inquisitor Gadan's return he petitioned Shara to aid him in his current mission.

The mission itself when south quickly once the group reached the hive they were infiltrating and Areln was soon separated from the rest of the team. Unsure what happened to the others Areln continued to pursue the mission he was given, though without support he was unable to do much on his own. By the time he was able to make it back to the pre-established rally point the Inquisitor's presence was no longer in the system. With no way off planet and no means to contact Captain Green he set out to find a means of getting off planet. Soon he had gotten work aboard a freighter and made it back in to the stars. After a while Areln found himself in the Jeda system where his skills as a pilot made him a worth while commodity. During one job he learned of the possible smuggling of non-Imperial items and his interest soon got the better of him. During his own snooping he was confronted by Interrogator Rannek and not wishing to be sent to a penal world Areln detailed his career in service to a Rogue trader and offered his services to Rannek and his master.

Name: Heilana Zerus
Rank: 'Corporal' (only holds the rank because of her psychic powers)
Age: 20
Height: 5'2
Weight: 110lbs
Gender: Female
Role: Tactical Support Psykana Corps
Appearance: Heilana is a young woman with a soft face and with a sharp chin. She has soft green eyes with long dark blonde nearly brown hair that is kept in a braided ponytail with her bangs spiked downwards just above her eyes. On her right cheek is a tatoo of a purple rose with black leaves falling from the stem. She is toned with developed muscles, but at the same time appears soft and untrained with her lightly tanned skin and youngish features that have not begun to show the strain of being a psyker.

Personality: Heilana is a soft spoken woman who appears to be nervous and not entirely sure of herself. She is awkward around people and because of her lonely lifestyle even within the Psykana Schola, Heilana has never developed real relationships with people. She is confident of her abilities and her powers and has a strong faith in the Emperor. When under pressure she can become clumsy and flustered, but she is relatively young and inexperienced.

Psychic Powers:

Psychic Detection: She can detect other psykers. The stronger the psyker, the easier she is able to detect it and lead the Inquisitor to the psyker. Its more or less a feeling and the closer she is to a powerful psyker the harsher her migraines become.

Terrorsight: This power alters her vision to see thermal heat signatures and motion up to 50 feet. It can be affected by bright lights, interrupted by thick metals etc. Its an active power and can only be used in small amounts of time. The longer the power is used can lead her to having temporary blindness for either an hour or even up to a day.

Astral Projection: She can leave her body to chase down fleeing prey or provide tactical information of an approaching ambush. She can only leave her body for so long and she is supectable to daemonic attack the longer she stays out of her body.

Wargear:
Lasgun with Scope: A standard las-based rifle with a scope for range finding. Heilana is able to field strip and fully service the weapon. It is the same weapon she used during the crash course in Stormtrooper Basic.

Combat Knife: A standard knife that can has a duel purpose of being wielded as a close combat weapon or being attached to the lasgun as a bayonet.

Carapace Torso Armor: standard issue carapace plated armor on her front and back of her torso.

Flak armor: the rest of her body is made of flak material along her arms and legs.

Helmet with black visor: A visored helmet to protect her head from a direct shot and to prolong her existence.

Background: At the age of three Heilana was discovered by the Inquisitors of the Black Ship and was rounded up with the rest of the unchecked psykers of the her birthplace. Heilana never really knew her parents or her homeworld and because of being taken at a very young age she has no real memories either other than the day the Inquisitors came. It had been unusual because she could sense that some one was using the warp to locate her and she made herself known without even knowing she was using her latent abilities.

Aboard the Black Ship she was tested and after the rigiorous tests she was taken aside and marked for further training. She was not going to be apart of the masses that was fed into the Golden Throne, nor was she destined for the soul binding that would turn her into an Astropath, instead she was selected to undergo the Psykana Schola training.

At the physical age of six, Heilana had reached the Schola after warp travel and began her time within the Schola. In the Schola, her powers developed and she was trained extensively to use her warp detection and terrorsight to locate and find other psykers. It was with these talents and her overall school performance that marked her out for specialist training. Now at the age of 18, she was drafted into the Tactical Support Psykana Corp and began her time in the Corp.

Within the Corp, she was taught to further hone her abilities in multiple simulated combat situations, but it was all theory and it was not until the end of the five day training course was the class of fifty thrown into a three week boot camp designed for Stormtroopers. Only nine of the class survived the harsh training and with Heilana being apart of the nine, she was given a seal of approval and assigned to a Xenos Inquisitor.

For two years she served with Inquisitor Ablao in searching down rogue Xenos warlocks of the Derrizad race that were nortious for mind control of unsuspecting humans. The field work provided her with some training, but overall it was cat and mouse games that in the end of the search finished with her Inquisitor being killed, but the Xenos Warlock destroyed. It was then she was recycled back into the Inquisition and was then chosen to work for Inquisitor Ulkaret.

She knows nothing of her new Mistress and has been sent with the highest priority for she does understand her new Mistress has an operation in place. She has no idea what role she will play or if she will able to please her new Inquisitor.
