I'll add my compliments too, your work on these models is superb! When applying OLS to light areas, like the ogre's flesh, I think the trick is many careful glazes, building up to the most illuminated part. However, I've never been brave enough to try it myself unfortunately! Good luck to you!

Your High elfs look fantastic. I love the purple colour you have managed, what was your recipe please?![]()
purple on the high elves is liche purple, 1:1 liche and warlock, warlock, edged with tentacle pink, lethithan purple wash.

picture makes it look a little flat.
ill do an elf from iob next to break up the order a bit as ive done all my eldar that needed painted.

Very nice elves man! Dreadfleet is coming along nicely. I almost finished the Black Kraken myself, but then my wandering mind wandered and I did a bunch of other stuffSea dripping off the tentacles is well painted.

Your high elves are awesome! Very nice metal effects and extremely smooth purple hues. How many different metal pots do you use?

... is converting and painting an Ogres blood bowl team at the moment. Next in line is a lo-fi themed Dark Elves team and then Norse.
the metal on the high elves is simple, chainmail, asurman blue wash, chainmail, then mithrel silver. gold, 1:1 scorched brown:shining gold, shining gold, baal red, shining gold, burnished gold, 1:1 burnished gold:mithrel, then mithrel on high points.

You may want to dot the pupils on their eyes, they're looking a little possessed at the momentgreat painting though!

I kind of like full color eyes. Looks much deeper even if it is a bit alien. Very nice gems on the second seaguard.

Hi, you are flying through those ships and making them look great as well. What did you use as the base coat for the bone spines on the skabarus? It looks almost grey.
Will have to get another game in soon.
