Yeah, what do you plan for the theme? This could easily be a Cityfight or a Urban theme.
Looks very nice - how bad is the Drop Sent for resin shrinkage problems? I'd love to get my hands on a couple, especially if they reprint the rules so Any Guard unit can use it.

Urban theme, but this sentinel is inside a Imperial base. I'm planning to paint a"scratched imperal eagle" over the flat part...what do you plan for the theme?
What do you mean ?how bad is the Drop Sent for resin shrinkage problems?
What I mean is, I see that it's a half and half mix of plastic and resin. Having built the Mk IIB Landraider, I know that Forgeworld's resin has a tendency of turning out just a bit smaller than the standard offerings. Was there any problems with fit between the resin and plastic on this project for you?

NO any problem at all.Was there any problems with fit between the resin and plastic on this project for you?
Actually, this kit uses the plastic legs and an entirely resin body. Even with some shrinkage, it wouldn't be apparent or troublesome, really. Not like trying to fit doors to a Rhino.![]()
webmax - nice, I was hoping to hear something like that, as I would eventually like to get my hands on some of them.
AGP - I hadn't thought of that, really, considering the join between body and legs. Ironically, my Rhino doors fit rather fine, but the severe pain in the backside was the Mk IIB center body section, which required a LOT of work to get the body section and then the top cover to work cohesively.

As you see ..working with resin models (in this case made by Forge World) is always unpredictable...Many times i saw perfect stamp, with no or less molding line or errors.
But some times.....is not so easy.
Fortunately, if there are big problem with the FW pieces ..you can ask a return for "faulty" model ad receive a free replacement.

YES! You're back. I really liked this project, the sentinel looks ace.
The base looks great. Airbrush FTW! I guess you used a brass etch as the stencil for the imperial eagle. Am I correct? Oh and I'd love to see lots of weathering on that base.![]()
No, i've used a "plastic" stencil created using a laser cut service.I guess you used a brass etch as the stencil for the imperial eagle![]()

That looks like a lot of fun to work on.
I think I should start on smaller projects as well.
