    I've begun work on a bat monster like creature, only got the head so far finished but I hope it's looking promising.

    I've also continued with the Lizardman, he's mounted on a large monster base for the moment, I just hope he doesn't end up being too big.

    Darn nice, but he'll end up as a Kroxigor-size character. That is no problem, since we can't have too many good alternative models. A lot of people might want him as a leader for their Kroxigors in Warhammer. Do forewarn mr. Paniagua about the size. Seeing how good your first lizardman hero is, I hope a lot of the design elements on that one's equipment will be carried over to this one (and improved) for consistency.

    The bat beast head is looking fine as well.

    It is sculpted for Avatars of War. That says something of the quality.

    I like the bat creature so far, a nice head.

    Progress on the Lizardman is also looking good, an impressive pose.

    I too like the bat creature, it reminds me of vorcha from Mass Effect 2-3.

    Nice work on the head, you do do teeth well!

    The big lizard is doing well you've captured a really strong sense of dynamism and feral bestiality.

    The lizard is going to Avatars of war, the bat monster will be going to troll forged.

    @Karak Norn Clansman
    Yeah, will be Krox sized, though wider in terms of shoulders and shorter than the GW counterparts.

    @Little Joe
    Thanks mate!

    @eldargal
    Thanks, I see the resemblance now you mention it, though I haven't played ME2 in ages.

    @Hairy Norseman
    Cheers!
    I can tell you how I do teeth, but might try a photo based tutorial at some point to help if I can.

    Best way to do teeth (or the way I find works best for me) is to mix up your GS and put it on your thumbnail, you can then cut off smaller and more precise pieces, roll carefully into spikes and play in the mouth.
    For things like the bat creature, I pre-poke holes the teeth sit in and then just slide the teeth in, teasing out the points with a clay shaper.

    With lizardman I tend to make a bridge gum line and just stick it against that, I then point the teeth slightly backwards.

    No photos yet, I'm hoping for a bigger update, so the next photo I want to show will be the finished lizard (not including accessories or weapon work, but the whole body and tail).
    I have been sculpting loads today, took apart then resculpted all muscles on the front so abs, intercostals, obliques etc, you get the idea.
    I also added in the best today which went well and have been sculpting loads fo spikes.

    Finally, the million dollar question.
    Pick one, no hesitations.

    Even as a Dark Elf player, I'd love to see what you do with Grotek.

    Will do, progress has been good, just got the spikes on the tail left and then he's finished (minus decorations, trophies, and weapon mods).

    Will be doing Gotrek over a dark elf princess, I'll see if I can't pose him somehow in a mid battle like pose.

    More photos,

    Hopefully cleaned up a few bits, though you will still see edges and lines where green stuff joins, these will get cleaned up or covered when additional bits and pieces (such as ornaments) are added.

    At the moment he's just sitting on the base as I had to remove it to sculpt parts like the spikes on the tail and thighs.
    I'm not planning on adding any more spikes though, I think that would be overkill, hopefully where it is at the moment is the right sort of balance.

    Re: The brand new sculpt log

    Looks great! As for more spikes, I would only recommend some smaller spikes on the inner thigh and shoulder to create a transition between those big spikes and smooth skin, in the same way you did on the neck. You should only need a row or two.

    You didn't mention Gotrek on PB! Gotrek please. Easily my favourite character in WFB by miles. Explains why you wanted dwarves to pose for you :P

    Yeah, I've had some other people suggest a little more of a transition around areas like that and the shoulders/upper arms.

    I've had a huge response for removing and reworking the two heads on the weapon, seems to be on of those rare occasions where I haven't quite gone big enough and more detail has been asked for.

    Things might slow up a little now, my week off work is now over sadly and I'll be working less as a result, but I'll do my best to keep things moving.

    @Sparks, must have slipped my mind.
