@Gonfrask: Thanks, the legs are DE, only the feet are Daemonettes, I think you could get away with using Daemonette legs, they might need some armour added to them though.

Everything DE I have. From left to right, FRONT: Trueborn and Venom, KAbalite Warrios and Venom,Scourges. BACK: Kabalite Warriors and Raider, Kabalite Warriors and Lady Malys, Wyches and Raider.



As you can't see from the pictures (I can't take a picture of this model, these are the best two out of 20 odd attempts), this is my WIP Lady Malys. I added more hair to give her a more 3D presence as the model was a bit too flat. The robes need a bit of work as they're rough round the curves. Also, i'm a bit stumped about the Corset, I don't know whether to sculpt the boobs then the corset or vice-versa. Also i've been searching for Gothic corsets for ideas and thats just slowing me down as well...

And this is my Cronos WIP. Ignore the rough GS work, its just there so I have an idea of what the finished model will look like. It'll have 6 legs, 4 rear ones made from Wraithlord arms with the smaller part from the Raider's segmented Aethersail and the fromt legs are a War Walker's with the larger parts from the same sail. I can't start on these arms until I have brought my last Raider and two Ravagers though. The head will be insect like with a tortured face painted like Marble, similar to the style on Rackham's old Dirz miniatures.

I don't know what a Chronos is, but whatever you got going on there is pretty cool looking.

Log chronos is a special type of talos (mini wraithlord) that feasts on souls and bounces pain points to friendly units. I also agree that is a VERY inventive way to do it.

Wow - this is a really nice log - really like your ideas for the Scourges (very evocative) and the Chronos is looking really nasty/cool.
I never would have thought of using Nid bits for the Chronos + might do a similar idea for mine (whenever I get round to it) if you don't mind?

@cerealkiller195: I was mulling over doing a corrupted Wraithlord, there are pics of someone else who did this over on Bell of Lost Souls, so I thought i'd try something different.

So far the best scourges I've seen. Jaw dropping conversions. Using demonettes legs is brilliant idea (kudos to the original converter). Very interesting choice of bits for Crons. Keep it up mate

WIP Solarite. You can't really see (anything), but he has a sort of mane of hair, I wanted to show the true extent of their body modification. As you can see by the scale shot, he is a lanky bugger. The legs will have hair added to the back to make it look more unusual.

A doodle I did of a Haemonculi. I will get around to sculpting it eventually.




Cronos WIP. The kneck is a Warwalker hoof and the head is a Trygon's claw with a Dark Eldar head (eyes and mouth slit filed off).



Shots of the Cronos' legs. I really like this, it looks like a gigantic Eurypterid. The arms are glued on now, it looks really cool, in my unbiased opinion.

Loving your work so far!!! I have to ask though,.. slow down when it comes to taking your pics....

It is clear that you are churning out the work quicker than the sun burns Hydrogen, but it would be great if you used a macro (the tulip button on your camera?).

I would love to see in sharper detail what you are actually doing/ how you are going about it, but at the moment some of the shots are like I am being given a "drive by" in modelling! lololol

Keep it up though, I suspect I will be yoinking some ideas!

Thanks guys, i'll try and get better pictures, I am using the macro function (depressingly it just makes the pictures yellow). I've got nothing to do tomorrow, so i'll try and get more pictures up. I've got some more progress done on the Cronos, some WIP Khymeras and i've started on my Razorwing fighter.

See if your camera has a indoor setting, or try to fiddle with the white balance if it has that. This should help with the yellow tint.

Rabid bunny, try to get a hold of photoshop, and use the auto levels from there to fix that yellow effect. Also, using the 5sec countdown on the camera really helps with the shaky pictures, as you won't shake the camera pressing the button.

I'm seeing alot of great creativity on the photos, I really loved the chronos, you're doing something that I had in mind from that tiny little illustration in the book, and it's going to look awesome! I really like your other photos as well, I wish we could see them clearer =)

The Cronos looks awesome, those legs are a total brainwave! What legs did you use for the Trueborn btw?

For photos, get a WHITE light lamp and shine it directly onto the models, and if need be rest the camera on the desk rather than holding it.

Thanks for the advice guys, i'll try to get photoshop sometime after christmas and i've just fixed my desk lamp so I should be able to get better pictures in the evenings (With should being the active word).

@Gresil, the legs are from a Wych. The horns had to go though, I dropped him and one came off. It was too fiddly to glue and too small to pin, so I just trimmed the other one off. I might remake it from Cold One Knight crests, i've got enough of them to play around with.



My Razorwing WIP. I'm a bit underwhelmed by it to be honest, I think extending the back of it out will help. The rough marks are plastic glue, I was thinking of having a Vyper canopy at the front as it looked good, but after I glued it in place it started to look crap. Thanks to MegaNutz for the turret.



Beastmaster 1. The whip arm needs the mould lines removed. I changed the whip arm to the other side as it created a nice flow in the miniature. He is holding the whip in a reverse grip. Despite all the work I have put into the Cronos, i'm most proud of his thumb .
