I'm in the same boat for cultists, I really think the DV guys will look too out of scale next to my OOP zerkers and CSM.
I was thinking of converting some Hobbit Goblins, as apparently they are quite small.
If I was a millionaire, I'd buy a bunch of Chaos Thugs off eBay and convert them

@ Cap'n Facebeard: I'm not sure how big the Goblins for The Hobbit are (i.e. if they got changed for the new game), but the regular armoured ones for the Lord of the rings game are tiny. To my eyes, they're about 50% the size of regular WFB infantry.

@ VN: For Cultists, how about WFB Skaven? They're cheap £, and their stooped/hunched-over profile not only means that they are smaller, but also gives them a more 'abused menial/meat-shield' look to them. Plus, you could GS hoods over them if you don't want them to appear too 'ratty'-looking.

Thanks for the thoughts on the cultists brothers! I've managed to track down that ogre mutant on eBay and snapped it right up (not cheap mind you!), so look out for that in the future.

I'm also considering adding some Necron allies to my force, for quality flyers and ranged anti-tank, so I've also managed to get hold of some of the frankly horrid 2nd ed Necrons, plus some long OOP Chaos Androids from Space Crusade... Not sure if I'm gonna make use of them yet, the new CSM codex is giving me a bit of a headache when it comes to making a list :S

Well now that I have your attention, that isn't strictly true... but I am selling a lot of the stuff I don't use these days. Check out my eBay listings if you're interested (got a bunch of other GW bits on there too), I'd really like it to go to a good home

Soooo.... With the new Chaos Codex I'm restarting my old (very old) Death Guard army. As a result of that, I wont be updating this blog for a while...
