As myself and my friends play various games I will be keeping battle reports posted up here (well I'll try ).

All the reports will be put together with Battle Chronicler, and I'll try to include as many pictures as I can - apologies for any blurry images, I'm no photographer!

i didn't get a chance to go through them thoroughly, but the format looks excellent, everything is crystal clear. the maps with the pictures are excellent visual aid. one of my favorite things about batreps is the little section at the end where players reflect on the battle and come up with ways to improve etc. maybe add one? its not necessary but its one of my favorite parts. looks good though, very crisp, i'll definitely be back to look them over more thoroughly when i have time!

I've updated the two games which I was playing in (I was the Skaven player if you hadn't guessed from my signature). If either of the other two guys pass on any thoughts I'll get them added on.

Someone else has also had this issue. Can you let me know which Internet browser you're using (including the version number)?

I've tried in IE 8, Chrome 7.0, Firefox 3.6 and Safari (iPhone) so far and all look ok.

Also, does it happen on all reports so far? Or only particular ones?

I'm having the same problem, but I'm at work at the moment, so I think the firewall might be toying with my emotions. Not to worry, I'll try later on once I get home.

Anyway, I'm enjoying reading the battle reports, they're concise and snappy. Very good, for when I need a little break from the daily slog. Also battlechronicler may be my door into the world of making my own battle reports!....once I get back to playing battles relatively regularly.

Had a quick 1000pt game last night using my Skaven against a friends Orcs & Goblins. We were both using new lists to try out different things. Here are the results...

Oops! Looks like I didn't take off the PWM cost from the Clanrats when I wrote up the report. Checked the list again and it does add up to <1000pts

Your skaven does seem to struggle a bit, a warpfire thrower would probably serve you better than the ratling gun

PcB's are indeed not so good anymore one of my favourite units though it be

Fantastic reports tarrym, I agree with all previous comments on format and presentation, perfect! That really makes for attractive reading and makes the battles come alive. The painted models also look very good, not unimportant.

Played another mini-tournament at the weekend. This time a 1500pt round-robin against the same guys I played against last time. In fact all the reports you're likely to see here are against the same 2 players. But we each have multiple armies so at some point there will be a little more variety in the armies involved.

1500pts opened up some interesting options for my Skaven, I'm glad I went and bought myself a Plague Furnace! I shall say no more.

Good reports. Just one thing regarding the Warlords challenge against the GG champion. In a round of CC that involves a challenge neither model can be attacked by any other except the challenger. This includes if one gets killed. So the Warlord should have been safe.

Thanks for the reports, very nicely done.

6-7 hours for a 1500 point game though? What were you guys up to in the midst of it? I know my local community is fairly tourney hardened but our 2400 point games usually last under 2 hours.
