Great looking stuff. I'm partial to the helmets already, but I love what you've done with the rest of the conversions.

Holy dooley, amazing conversions I'm really enjoying the simple changes you have made, but my favorite bits would have to be packs you have added to the Cadian torsos, pure genius.
Good luck with the rest of your endeavors, you should see me here often =)

@ PariahZero : It was (is??) a custum job made by MaxMini.eu (arthur was the contact) so; in my train of thoughts it its posible to buy some of those torsos from them if you attach the photos of them and make a reference to my order.

Hope that works; if not I will ask some extra torsos for you.

Those models look great. I like the fact that the GW plastics are so dynamic, you can use them with two or three other companies' pieces to make something completely different.

Any plans for the bases? It would be a shame to not base these fine models.

Re: Group of Imperial Ocupation Forces Germanica, the Fulda Incident

Well, a little bit late but, here we are: I still have troops to convert and paint

Exactly 126 chaps plus the "newest" batch I found on a box on the closet (circa 60+) Im thinking in making a rifle company they would be: 3 squads (30) a commisar and their command squad, just Cadian and space marines and a "long rifle" somehing maybe resembling the SKS or the Mosint-Nagant.

For the other bodies, im planning to do veterans, VDV (air cavalry) and your suggestions ( a cavalry horde is being considered too!!! - I just found sigmarite units i did not know i have)

Also Gents: Does anybody knows a good source of supplies??? in order to achive great looking bases??? -thanks in advance-

So, see you in january and success.
a motivational photo for all you I.G. players.

Very nice Imperial Guardsmen. I like the standardized look you've achieved, while the free-hand skulls give them each a little bit of personality. This log is a good example of how a few simple conversions can really make an army unique.

I love those torsos! They are really exceptional. The army is great, and I like that you are going to the extra effort to make the real world theme stick.

I also like the fact you listed me as an inspiration

    Keep it up mate.

First of all, I hope you have and excellente year

An armour Update. The first transport is done!!!

    Bitz Used
    Games Workshop Imperial Guard Chimera.
    Old Crow Models 25mm accesories
    Plasticard and lost of rivets.

Now, the fun starts; we need for our core force 4 more of these little babies; a second batch of 3 for a full mech core list and 6 for a mech-vet list so, as Obyekt-1 is done and under construction a BMP-3 conversion is considered for the vets.

    Untill then.

Re: Group of Imperial Ocupation Forces Germanica, the Fulda Incident

    An infantry update:

The foot compay is taking shape.

If I remove the chimeras of platoon B and the flammer SWS of platoon A we have enought points for a 30 man blob+ comissar and 6 granade launchers (you have to love how the guard is cheap)

So, im using the "salvaged" guardsman i have to acomplish this unit, Im using the cadian torso, the space marine scout back pack and the space marine ammo pouches.

Allso, Im using Gropius idea for the lasgun (lasgun # 2) to fullfill the theme of light infantry http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...74#post3508974

What else did you use with the GS to make the mould? It looks paler than usual. And what is the quality of the cast like? I'm just interested in making some larger GW moulds myself.

Re: Group of Imperial Ocupation Forces Germanica, the Fulda Incident

    Hail icecream boy:

First of all, I know I owe you some painting for the bases so, as we speak (write??) im basing the snipers (finally found a nice modelers turf and a glue gun).

The Green Stuff you see is the local hardware store "extra sturdy" G.S they say its ideal for plumbing. time will tell

As the ingredient for the mould is great, for the casting I use the mos normal G.S and olive ooil as lubricant (take mould, lube it, press it manly enougnt against g.s. blob, repeat)

    thanks for your words (writtings??)
