I really like the E series without Sovietization. The turrets for the 105mm Kwk looks best.

    Keep it up.

I'm for the T-55 Enigma, I love the look of it, and it fits with your Russian Equipment basis.

"Sovietization" in this case (my most sincere apologies for nor telling it before) means the adition of ERA plates but as Sauragnmon and Mascharius present it; its a tought choice.

    Thanks to Both.

By the way; how can we make another poll??

I would have answered sooner, but I've been away for a few weeks. I fancy the T-72 (which you didn't list as a choice) or the T-80. I don't know if this will help you make a decision, but I'm interested to see what you come up with.

@SSG Snuffy I Do fancy too the T-72 but it alone deserves a full disgression; bearing in mind all the models existing of that tank....

Also, Im aware that my plasticard abilities have not been testet making soft angles and curves.

I was wondering if you'd ever heard of Redstar miniatures? They're a little expensive, but their vehicles look fantastic, and they have some very nice helmeted heads. Their Chechen rebels would work great as conscripts, penal legion, or even as veteran squads.

    Muy Señores Mios:

It`s being a long time since the last post in this project; fortunately, here we are and Im able and willing to continue.

So, let us continue with our foot company

    Strelkovy Platoon
    --------------------

    Bitz used:
    Games Workshop Cadians.
Games Workshop Space Marine ammo pouches.
    Pig Iron Kolony militia heads.

    --------------------
    Group Photos.

My goal here is to create a light foot infantry unit, so a more "traditional" body armour was intended also, the lasgun was trimmed to seem longer in comparisong with our mech and frontal infantry.
Colours hence will be a simple drab and green helmet.

Political Officer and CCs Tovarisch Polkovnik (awaiting power weapon)

Provost and life guard to Tovarisch Polkovnik (care to spare some laspistols?? anyone??)

    Your thoughts.

    ---------------------
    Post Scriptum.
Fortunately a local gaming store is running a "chuck norris challenge" (meaning 30 painted models in 30 days or less) so, faster updates would be held.

Re: Group of Imperial Ocupation Forces Germanica, the Fulda Incident

They look good so far! Have you given any thoughts to squad markings or anything like that? What I mean is a way to tell, just by looking at a miniature, what squad and/or platoon he belongs to... some people use a colored mark on the shoulder pad or a decal (usually a number). Other will simply mark the edge of the base.

I just thought that since you're making the extra effort to differentiate the "leg" infantry from their mechanized counterparts, you might as well make each platoon distinctive. Of course, after posting the link in my last comment maybe you'd like me to just keep my mouth shut...

Re: Group of Imperial Ocupation Forces Germanica, the Fulda Incident

After all this years of preparations, we needed to attack.
Antonid Sebastev Tamarkhan Motor Rifle Division M39.

It was during the final stages of his most inmortal magesty campaing to reunite the stars, that, the siderals systems compromising the Koalition and the Northen Treaty were subject to imperial compliance.

By word of his most imperial magesty, both power blocks were to expand up to "the reach of their fleets, and to where the shell fell..." this order from the emperor made a solar system named germanica a a buffer zone between two rising powers.

As a system, germanica has three hospitable planets circling a middle aged hydrogen star, to be know as Germanica Secundus, Germanica Tertius and Germanica Oppida.

To our interest in the subject, we must consdier this: Germanica Oppida was "ground zero" in the charts that defined the spheres of influence between the Koalition and the Northen Block, being her moons (Preussen, Preobashensky and Fulda) all habitable, (and profitable) matter of debate, border clashes and to the contempt of the parts, subject to a tripartite administration (Administratum, Koalition and Northen Treaty) of semi autonomous character.

Nationalisms, Rebelions, separatist movements and the influence of the ruinous powers were more than conprehensible in the moons that endured the ever lasting wrestling of power.

So it was that, for generations, Norhen Schools of war and Koalition academies believed that the only solution was to overrun the moons in name of peace, security and prosperity of the peoples.
