Have you painted the underbelly a different colour? its hard to tell with these pictures

Yes, he did - it's based on the Hind's scheme, which has the whole surface as would be seen from below it in grey - you can see it on the hatch, and along the sides of the fuselage where it trims the grey in.

Today was a quite productive day:







Some dry brush here, some there, highligts, gusn to greys and a free hand.

And some Traditional armour pic: I started to paint the devildogs.



Tamiya deck tank was applied with an airbrush then the green (tamiya dark green i think)

Looking really, really good! I was wondering, though, if you've thought of using Microsol or Microset with your decals? It will really help them lay flat and blend into the surface texture; you won't get that "shiny spot" around the decal.

Second Update:

Im adding Four (4) Veteran Squads to the army (they would be A+ Class units in the Soviet Orbat) to do them I will Follow Haij long coated vets plus our torso.

The Next images reprsents the "conceptual stage" of the Chimeras for the vets.
Bear in Mind that the MT-LB is the workhorse of this army; so an update version of the MT-LB will be (i think) in context with the army.
