Very nice models! Very well based as well. Keep it up.
Recently added to the infantry, which now looks like this.
Right now its at 23 models. Its getting there. The banners are temporary for now, I plan to replace them in the future.

Added three more Perry knights. The swords on the two are conversions, one using a Conquest Games Norman sword and the other using a Gripping Beast Plastic Vikings sword. Got some converted Conquest Games knights coming up next.

Great looking minies. Great looking knights. I look forward to photos of your Congquest Games knights.
I am therefore I think OR I think therefore I am?

I love the periods of the First and Second Crusades and I'm finding your project log inspirational.
Keep up the excellent work.
Complete Rules for the Chaos Legions make a return at last!
Updated and revised for the 6th Edition.
The number of troops/minies available continues to grow. The thunder of plastic hooves across table tops continues to grow louder
IMHO, it IS our duty to buy them AND use them in our armies.

Well its taken awhile, but I finally got around painting up my converted knights of the Conquest Games plastic variety. Painted these up for Adepticon.
I thnk they turned out decent. Had fun converting them and the painting was fairly straight forward.
Below is the next pair of knights. The one on the left I have converted, giving him an axe from the Gripping Beast Plastic vikings. I think its a neat little conversion that works well.
I like this look and I look forward to seeing the long awaited infantry. More to follow....

Looking good, nice work.
Me too. I am currently converting WGF Persians into Andalusian infantry but they are far from perfect. The heads are great as they have beards and moustaches but it's a lot of work fixing up the clothing. I expect the conversions will be much easier with plastic Normans.

Thanks for the compliments. There is a slight bit of difference in scale between these and the Perrys, but I do like the looks of the Conquest stuff. Both are very good.
A few more of the unit.

Very nice indeed.
Thanks.
Well here is the whole shebang of the Conquest Games unit. Nice minis and they and the conversions painted up well. I think the entire unit turned out well and was a whole lot of fun to put together.

I built a movement tray to match my Perry forces. Together with the Perry stuff they look fine.
I do like how the dynamics of the minis in the front rank turned out.

Looking good. Does those two guys to the right (white horses, black eagle on yellow) have the same heraldry? Wouldn't that be strange historically speaking, or was this period before heraldry got really fixed?
Brilliant work getting so many figures painted so nicely!!!!!!!
I just started collecting Normans for SAGA and the Conquest Games figures are very nice

Happy Gaming,

That unit looks as though it belongs on the set of Kingdom of Heaven, thundering across the wintery plains of Palestine!
My next project is Arab infantry so I have some catching up to do, and not nearly as much converting...
