Fubar's Hive Fleet

So to keep things slightly better organised, here are my Tyranids.

I have a tournament coming up up in February which is why I want to push forward with these guys.

I've obtained an extra 6 hive guard to my existing 3 although I'll only be painting up 6 in total for february, and I've almost finished my 2 x tervigons and my warrior prime.

I thought I would increased the size of the base for the tervigons with the idea of creating a mini diorama on the base with termagants coming out etc, typically I played a game where the extra 1/2 inch base got him killed making him just in range of some weapons >< but never mind it should look a bit cooler at least.

I've started on 2 x mycetic spores, although I probably will only use one but its nice to have the flexibility.

I think I will be lacking about 15-20 or so Termagants for spawning purposes so I'm gonna have about 40 to paint, that seems quite daunting atm.

The list I'll be using is.
Tyrant - painted(minus bonesword + lashwhip)
3 tyrant guard - 2 painted
Warrior prime - needs basing
2 x 3 hive guard - unpainted
Doom of malan'tai + spore - spore not finished
2 x tervigons - painted but needs basing
Shed loads of Termagants, some painted many not even purchased yet ><
10 x genestealers - base coated.

So quite a bit to do but shouldn't take me too long once I crack on with it.

Very nice paintjob on the carapace, looks very organic. As for the list, I wouldn't bother with a Prime unless you're using him with Warriors or a Carnifex brood.

Thanks, he's to go with the tyrant + guard, helps me move some wounds around and he owns independent chars too.

Beautiful paint scheme. Very natural and sinister looking. The bone swords on the Prime looks great.
