Its amazing how much doing military stiff can inspire you.
After spending the day shooting the .50 cal, I'm now nearly completed this set. The men are all done, and the LAV has its basic shape done. Pics will be up soon, hopefully tomorrow.

Re: Why Pariah's Projects are always delayed....
Ok, so picture update time. Here's pics of the LAV pre-stowage, and the last 2 men.
I've also shown a pic of my attempt at gloves for the radio man, and esp. for ModernKiwi, choc-chip camo on a helmet.
All that's left now is stowage and the base
yay

Yay for choc chip cammo. LAV looks good too. One of these days I'll dig out some photos of my old Esci 1/72nd "modern" US Army in choc chip.

Yay for appreciation!
Unfortunately, the problem with this being an old kit, is that the decals now have a faint grey outline around the edge of them. Yay for old kits.......

Re: Why Pariah's Projects are always delayed....
YAY!! So, the model is done. The base is having the finishing touches applied (sand and paint). And then I'm done!!
Pics will be in the morning (damn winter!) - and then onto the next project!!!
EDIT: So while the base is drying, I thought I'd do a quick model to keep my creativity going. This time a Cessna O-2A. The old Airfix 1/72 kit. Pics to follow

So finally pics!!!
Here's the pics of the finished LAV diorama - although I have to be honest that it's after growing on me now that it's finished
And 2 pics of the O-2A. The kit parts, and how it stands this morning (more would've been done only for damned Metro 2033 being addictive....

That O-2 is a cool little kit. How will you end up basing it?

Re: Why Pariah's Projects are always delayed....
Im just gonna use the old clear stands that you used to get with kits. Not assed doing a base

Re: Why Pariah's Projects are always delayed....
Oh OK. I thought it might look rather nice over some jungle terrain or the like, But then I'm not the bloke who has to go to all the effort to acheive that... :-)

Re: Why Pariah's Projects are always delayed....
I would honestly love to do something like that! Its just a case of finding a suitable base! ;-) got any suggestions?

OK, so the next project if for the brother. While not strictly real-world, it's based on such. Anyway, the next project is a super detailing of this jeep.

Aim to make is as close to the real thing is possible.

OK, so some progress has been made on this jeep. Here's the interior with the scratchbuilt pedals and handbrake. Many other parts of this are awaiting finishing touches. Pics once they done.

Re: Why Pariah's Projects are always delayed....
SO here's the 'tub' of the interior. Also have a pic of the little details I did - speedometer and InGen logo on steering wheel. C&C welcome.

Re: Why Pariah's Projects are always delayed....
Forgive the lack of Pictorial updates, but I HAVE been working on this model. All the "Snatcher" bits have been painted silver, and the Jeep is getting is last coat of Paint.
Here's my attempt at making the rifle that they use on the top of it.
