I thank you all for your nice words.

@purplebeard: Thanks, it has taken me two times creating because the first trial was awful (I show you), I thought I must throw it away. After month I gave it a second chance. A color umbragreen(?) (I call it dung) was perfect and after drying I coated it with water efect, thats all. the pipes are cabel tubes.

@daniel: Yes, I guess the titel's no longer actual. The rules for play have changed and with the new tiles I keep low of WHQ. But what new tiles do you propose? New stuff actually not shown HeroQuest adaption of a 6x6 room (where the skulls overlay is from). In other projects I saw also tall hall dungeons with 3 fields bride floors, but this is too large after my fancy.
Of course I'm really at the beginning of my own cutom stuff and I would be happy to get some suggestions, may it be overlays or descriptions. One of my thoughts are nonlinear room, f.a with 60° degree branchs, triangle fields and cave/mine ambient. But it will be remain all connectable.

Would make an interesting Necromunda/Mordhiem battlefield.

Re: Eredrian's Warhammer Quest 3D dungeon

    Hey Eradrian,
Well, I would just suggest bigger rooms than the WHQ ones. I actually played a game last weekend and the small rooms just didn't make it fun enough.

But since you are looking for suggestions on theme, I would add a large room (like 6 by 6 tiles or something) with some cool scenery. I made some cool stuff that you could build yourself very easily...

And this page has some cavern tiles I made you might like:
    http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...=112145&page=9

And you would do great making a prison cell thing, where you have one long corridor with cellars on both sides with skellies in it, perhaps some cellars can't be entered because the prison bars are still there and some have been destroyed so you can have monsters hiding there.

Good luck... Hope you like my suggestions.

Ah, ok, thanks, the board looks interesting. I think I need some of them, for weapons and stuff. A few months ago I ordered dungeon equipment and so I will combine it in style, but haven't found time to paint them.
One of the next projects ist to build rooms/inventory in snake style and some statues for gargoyles. It's for an campaign about the deadly enemies medusae and gargoyles.

The prison part sounds interesting too, I think about a collection of prison cells, which are connected by a 3 fields wide corridor.

Your hallways and rooms are BEAUTIFUL! I really like your attention to detail. The opening/closing doors look great. I love the spike pit. And I knew instantly where the room with the skull overlay came from... I love HeroQuest. Great work!

Re: Eredrian's Warhammer Quest 3D dungeon

    Thank you,

this is the right feedback for me to go on building, but I wouldn't be so succesfull without all the templates of WHQ/HQ rooms made from other creators. I hope with the "eredrianization", and in addition with my own rooms they work as "all of one piece".

So do you still play HQ? Especially the skull overlay I redesigned for printing in 2 Versions, one for a 6x6 room, which is very polpular in our german HQ-Site and one rommfree version (skull, stairway and podium as standalone versions)

At least one suggestion to the spike pit. I tried to add some skeletons like proposed, but finally I didn't made. Unfortunately, the pit is really to small to add something lika a corpse there, perhaps I put in only a few bones. But I made a greater pit, where's enough space for a small company...pictures follow, when it's complete finished.

Re: Eredrian's Warhammer Quest 3D dungeon

    This time only some WIPs.

As proposed, I started with some bigger rooms, this is the first (nearly finished) of the series. The door cases get some gargoyle statues later, because the door alone is actually boring and the pit wants more corpses.

Then we come to a new sort of room. It acts in two ways. The first is the floor version, where I needed a piece in 2x3. The second is a connetion to the new dungeon sections of canalisation. If you remember the original piece of the WHQ rooms I've thought I bring it more into use, additionally the sewage ways can be used to shorten passage ways like or instead of secret passages do.

So I'm going to make more rooms with sewer connections and after it the canalisation itself on "level zero". It will include a sewage waterfall to combine higher level rooms directly with the canalisation. (Something like this with very high walls.)

As always thanks for your gentle words. This drives me to build more and more.

Here a preview of my Canalisation style with connections to upper dungeon sections. Additionally I haven't find enemy models for canalisation I like, so I start also modelling a kind of leech, finally they should get a "Predator/Octopus in Deep Rising"-like mouth for leeching with many tiny teeth.

Those leeches already look nasty. The new room looks like it will be a lot of fun to fight on. The different heights make it look very interesting.

Re: Eredrian's Warhammer Quest 3D dungeon

As announced before, the new canalisation section of my dungeon. Actually all is WIP.

    Waterfall

It will be conneted on top with an entrance, so players can pass the waterfall by jumping into the sewage water. The other way would be to find the stairways down to the ground.

    Canalisation total

The goal was to build enough rooms to play a stand alone version on it without using regular dungeon rooms. With the actual number of sections I guess, I can play several adventures there. Additionally, and this is much more important, the straight way to my own style of dungeon.

    Details

At last, I know you love the small details made in the rooms, so here is a first look on what I will do everywhere in the canalisation (And of course it's fast work to add). Because anywhere the water comes from...
Before finishing I'm going to add debris and bones with some bits.

Re: Eredrian's Warhammer Quest 3D dungeon

The sections are impresive and very well designed, the hidden details, the water...a game in this must be an amazing experience

Re: Eredrian's Warhammer Quest 3D dungeon

Today's update contains only my new 'game box'.

Is it a bunker?...No it's only a scenery of an endroom.

In the near future I do it like Boreas and make some fixed plates with thick coloumns, I can set up the dungeon rooms. It's like an adventure, the builder wakes up in his selfmade dungeon and must find a way out to reach the surface...will he manage it anytime? On surface he isn't the free, because he goes on building and building. So I will build up an mordheim 'overworld' on it. The WHQ rules also work outside the dungeon and so the it would be only a change of scenery. For this purpose the platform gets an optional roof and so it can work as an sewer entrance on surface, when placed the right position (shown after). All further buildings should be exchangable.

Cave in - secondary (bottom) entrance (2)

    podium alone

Stand alone room with a view down to the sewer (removed podium)

Main room with an open abyss (removed gully)

Who would jump in to know what's down there? The clever guys would take make a rope trip...

What do you see when you look into the abyss? Do you still want to explore it?

    The skull room (HQ conversion)

How can I light up the skull eyes avoiding using a candle? Don't want to melt my box...

(rearrange and bring back the podium) Stairways connection

Stairways stand alone, so you can enter the dark without a rope (and the dragon won't not catch you too.)

Finally we are coming to the bottom.

(Because of the picture limit, go on reading on the next post.)

Part II of the game box

Stairways away makes a nice pit. I'm not sure, keeping this one instead of the WHQ or if I use it additionally to it (the WHQ pit is still not finished).

Arrangement for to pit fight visitors (or cruel tyrants).

Welcome to the moribund fighters - fill the room with life

I hope to get it all painted on this weekend. Then I need a break of it.
But its like drug I go on and go, because actually I have to paint some minis and furnitures. And actually I need some selfmade bases to homogenize my miniature collection...

    Thanks again,

and here's the reward for your laudations, more pictures.
Sorry, I haven't found the time to paint the great ones, but I like to add there also some more stuff, that means they're far away from finishing.
Back to the ones I have:

Overview about all new rooms. They are connectable with the old floors and can be connected to each other by the floor part or the sewer part.

A closeup of the main sewage trace (can I write it so?)

    Two bad pictures of details
