Ha ha halosghost, it did its duty and performed its function in our conflict. Who did win that game by the way? lol

I have finally finished my Land Raider! Time to show it off!

This shows all the bits it splits into. Many magnets were used. The frag assault launchers also come off but i forgot to remove them.

The name plate. The chinese characters on the left headlight cover repeat the name Riverblade. Named for my daughter.

Armed as a redeemer, with HK missile. Note the hinged side doors! (a real pain to do

    Godhammer pattern with storm bolter.

And finally a close up of the dragons head.

Hope you all like the latest and last (for a while) addition to my scarlet dragons. All comment are greatly appriciated.

    And next will be...

that looks really good, all the magnets and flappy hatches are cool, something i haven't really got the patience for. The lettering and chinese characters are a nice touch too

Looking forward to your chaos centaur doods

Re: So many models, so little time. Sprugly's blog.

So i got my chaos battleforce through the other day, had chance to put a couple of guys together so far.

on the left is my first test model, really just there so you can see the small hight difference. Ive added spacers to the feet legs and waist. You can see on the legs on the right how i've done this. Just a sliver of plasticard that i geen over.

I,ve also been messing with a jugger, Hows this look for sizing?

think i'll be using a heavily converted terminator torso.

I thought i'd include my planned army list as well so people can see my target. The army is based on the space wolf codex as its about the only way to have juggernaut riders.

    Chaos juggernaut centaur daemon prince.
(wolf lord with wolf claw and belt of russ on thunderwolf)

    4 Juggernaut riders
(4 thunderwolf cavelry, 1 storm shield, 1 storm shield and melta bomb, 1 power fist, 1 plain)

    4 Juggernaut riders
(4 thunderwolf cavelry, 1 storm shield, 1 storm shield and melta bomb, 1 power fist, 1 plain)

3 apiring champions, each with power fist ans combi melta
(wolf guard, to go with each squad)

7 Blood hunters, melta gun, khorne icon and possessed marine
( grey hunters, melta, wolf standard and wulfen)
    Rhino

7 Blood hunters, melta gun, khorne icon and possessed marine
( grey hunters, melta, wolf standard and wulfen)
    Rhino

6 Blood hunters, melta gun, khorne icon and possessed marine
(grey hunters, melta, wolf standard and wulfen)

6 Havocs, 4 missile launchers and 1 heavy bolter
    (long fangs)

    1499pts

whats the verdict? staying to my theme as much as possible whilst staying competative?

any and all comments will be greatly appriciated!

possibly, although i think its a bit too late in the game to start doin things like that to my terminators, maybe try it with my stern/vanguard if/when i start them

Heheeey that looks cool! However, I don't think that blu stack (whatever it is in english) Is a very good idea. I recommend Greenstuff or something similiar to it, since BS wont stay on it very long...Or is that only to show us how its going to look?

    Cheers

For making your marines bigger, you might want to take a look at this modelling blog over at B&C, especially the pages further in the thread.

Re: So many models, so little time. Sprugly's blog.

    Small update for you all.
First off, Chaos marine loading bolter.

Next is the special weapon marine for this squad. I've left the gun off and put a pin coming up from the hand so i can swap weapons as i wish.

And the same dude with his melta gun (which will be his normal weapon i think)

That guy is also the first to have the spikes i was planning for my marines. you may have noticed i've not got any horny helmets. The way i see it not all chaos armied would add horns to their armour, so no horns for me, little spikes all the way.

    Cheers

cheers, that is the last guy of this squad excluding the champion that i'm doing later. So hopefully after i spend a little time cleaning up any little bits and maybe sculpting on a little more chainmail or some fir, i can start painting these bad boys!

I'll post a group shot before i start the paint.

    See's ya!

ok so i've managed to get the first squad undercoated, they sit now on my desk begging to have their first coat of silver. But they'll have to wait a bit!

Group shots of the squad just before spraying.

looking forward to getting them started tommorrow!

i have some berzerkers i used to play with back in 3rd, and i've always been thinking about doing more chaos as probably would have earlier if the latest codex had been a little more exciting.

But when those bloodcrushers came out i had to put a marine on them and the wolf codex fits for that nicely.

I'll post a pic of my old daemon prince soon, my painting has improved since i painted it but its still a cool model. My choice of wings makes it a little different from most you see.
