why, yes there is! It's the storm of magic themed table, with a giant floating piece of rock, and parts of buildings being sucked off into the sky. If you look closely, you can actually see there's a cow (from the giant kit IIRC) floating underneath the rock xD

That is a superb piece of battleboard.

At first I didnt see the scenery and how it had been warped. I seriously would love to have a game on a board like that, I get so board of simple ones with nothing crazy going on.

It's funny, for us it feels very standard (and sometimes rather annoying as it gets in the way) by now, because we've been playing on that table for nearly a year already.

    Re: The bearded one's lizardmen

Nice looking table! Never seen it before even though I live rather close... I rarely visit GW Rotterdam, or any GW for that matter, as I'm either treated to an over-rehearsed sales pitch trying to make me buy stuff I don't want or I'm ignored completely because I'm not a regular and/or I'm not twelve years old and I don't have my mom with me

I will most likely drop in GW Rotterdam on wednesday though, as I'm quite keen on picking up some supplies that aren't available at my regular hobby store.

On the previous page, who's Dark Elves are that? They look disturbingly familiar...

Your lizardmen are excellent - very strong painting.
All the big battle photos are also really impressive. You've got a big community there and are really well equipped for great looking tournaments.

Beautiful Lizardmen army, bearded one! Great painting, and some very nice conversions (the spawning pool Saurus unit is ace!)

They seem to have quite a nice selection of tables at GW Rotterdam, and some great player armies. Shame it is more than a 2 hour drive away from me...

Excellent work there champ! Aside from the super conversions the actual colors are so realistic the bronze and stone work makes the whole army look very brutal indeed possibly the most fearsome looking Lizardmen army i have seen!Jaw droopingly awesome..............

    Re: The bearded one's lizardmen

    Time for an update

I'm going to a tournament next weekend, and needed to change my list slightly, so the stegadon is taking a trip to the spa, and I added some additional saurus and templeguard, a unit of terradons, and a saurus scar veteran with great weapon on cold one, the dawnstone and the gambler's armour.

I've also had the chance to play plenty of games in the past weeks. This is from.. I think it was last week, against ogres:

We played 2 games, he was rather unlucky in the first, and I was rather unlucky in the second.

Damage from the salamanders managed to cause the ogre bulls to panic and flee away, fleeing through the mournfangs who ran off the table. The bulls only rallied after several turns.

In the second game, I had some bad luck here and there, as the stegadon got shot by the ironblaster, the mournfangs refused to take wounds, and I had a winds of magic of double 1 before the ironguts and mournfangs hit the templeguard, and spectacularly the salamanders had lined up a shot on 2 units outside the general's leadership and all 3 rolled a misfire! This game definately did not end well.

How is it that every army you show (including your own!) looks fantastic?

That Storm of Magic board is one of the only all-GW terrain setups I really like. Such a fun idea.
